392 Air Filter?

[Quadratec]

Quadratec lists a different part number (68257030AA) for JL 2018-2023 engine air filter. Does this mean that the filter shown at Quadratec is NOT the correct engine air filter for the 392?

I was unable to find the part number listed here (68501780AB) on Quadratec website.

Can you please provide a link to where I can buy the correct air filter?

I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, that part number is not for the 392. This air filter is for 2.0L and 3.6L Gasoline Engines. Unfortunately, we do not currently carry part number 68501780AB for the 392 models.

AFE did get back to me and stated they didn't have a stock replacement for the 392. But what they didn't address is if the Gladiator filter they do have will fit. Guess they want to sell us their $600.00 unit instead. And personally, I don't want that. Just want a stock replacement filter with better numbers and reusable. Wish I knew someone with a Gladiator so I could check the fit between the two.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but K&N finally released a drop-in oiled filter for the 392. I’ve had mine for about a month now.

Oiled elements are not good for downstream sensors. The stock filter is a good filter.

I bought and put this in a couple weeks back and am enjoying it. I have never used Oiled filters and glad AFE finally released their dry version.
