  1. Replacing OEM Hard top Liner With Hothead Headliner?

True on the warranty. Since I have had it, it has constantly sagged and my kids riding in the back have been pushing it up and on all the time to keep it there. I may try this. However, my local dealer is absolute, 100%, pure garbage. I would not trust them to wipe bugs off a headlight. I will...
  2. Replacing OEM Hard top Liner With Hothead Headliner?

I have also found the "CoverKing" on quadratec. It looks nice and I really like the FULL coverage.... https://www.quadratec.com/p/coverking/topliner-hardtop-insulation-kit-wrangler-jl-unlimited?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIq8SrmpWggAMVvButBh3s_ASZEAQYASABEgKISPD_BwE
  3. Replacing OEM Hard top Liner With Hothead Headliner?

Hello Jeeple! I am curious if anyone has installed the hothead headliner? I took my hard top off in the garage and stored it above my Jeep. It seems that the middle section fell off and landed on the top of my Jeep. Unknowingly, the jeep was driven and it must have blown off at some point. I...
  4. 392 Skid Plates - Any recommendations and/or advice

The motobilt are the ones for me. Especially because I plan on taking the stock exhaust off and installing the AFE rock basher. This will get the coverage without restricting the flow. The exhaust skid is something extra that is worth it with aftermarket exhaust. Again, for the same reasoning as...
  5. 392 Skid Plates - Any recommendations and/or advice

LOL my bad. I am constantly looking to see what's out there
  6. 392 Skid Plates - Any recommendations and/or advice

Yes and no. I was wheeling through a rock garden and a rock pivoted under the Jeep in such a way that it got jammed between the exhaust and the frame rail where MC does not protect. Right where I indicated on this spiffy snip....
  7. 392 Skid Plates - Any recommendations and/or advice

If I did enough 4wheeling to justify understanding this, I could see a point lol. However, only spending 40-50% of the time offroad with my Jeep, I am not sure if the average consumer needs to be THIS concerned with the product. There are really only 2 questions that need to be answered: Does it...
  8. 392 Skid Plates - Any recommendations and/or advice

I like them because I have been hung up under the Jeep with the metalcloak on my JK. These seem to offer a more completed "smooth belly" system. Because of the rolling rocks, stumps and branches here in the PNW they seem like a good option for full coverage that would help reduce damage from...
  9. 392 Skid Plates - Any recommendations and/or advice

Motobilt has jumped into this arena as well. I really like these. They are HEAVY but they also cover much more than the metalcloak skids. I really like how they cover the exhaust side of the jeep as well as the gas tank. This would keep you from getting hung up as easily on that side...
  10. Looking for a front windshield sunshade

This is the one I have. It adds 85HP to the Jeep (adding the 1000HP racing stripes next). Its is just a bit difficult to drive it when its raining. Invest in goggles so when its installed with the extra 85HP, you can still stick your head out the window and drive. The state patrol frowns upon it...
  11. Dead Battery on 2 week old 392 Rubicon! Any Help Appreciated!

That's BS. I'll bet they were just trying to make an excuse. I have had mine parked for 2 weeks before and it fired right up......I would call them on this BS
  12. Traveling with top off....

I forgot one more thing, Blast the tunes! and when you're driving in populated areas, find a death metal version of "Baby Shark" and let her rip!
  13. Traveling with top off....

I drove 3.5 hours topless to a national park. It was fun but here are my recommendations. Have a top on standby. Anything that can cover the jeep while driving and while parked. This can help keep you cooler and keep the elements and tree debris out. The wind noise is a lot after a while...
  14. 2024 Jeep Wranglers Delivered to Dealerships!!!

I agree, that dash is a terrible idea! it will get dirty and stay dirty. The older dash can be wiped clean with little effort. Truing to get mud, sand, fingerprints and ANYTHING off that dash will be a nightmare and drive some crazy......huge nope.
  15. My Evil Build, Say Hello to Diablo.

....but yours doesn't NEED to take corners, just driver over everything.....
  16. Ride quality 392 v 3.6

The 392 is heavier and feels more planted. The steering and suspension are stiffer which give is a sporty feel. However, it seems that the weight of the engine and whatnot cause the factory shocks and steering stabilizer to not last very long. It doesnt seem like these components are built for...
