it’s glue to hold them from collapsing. Just leave it as is.What are those two strips of what look like glue on the bottom of the air filter? Do you take them off?

They are not special nor heavy duty, they do their job just fine, and why would you think they are heavy duty?
Quadratec lists a different part number (68257030AA) for JL 2018-2023 engine air filter. Does this mean that the filter shown at Quadratec is NOT the correct engine air filter for the 392?
I was unable to find the part number listed here (68501780AB) on Quadratec website.
Can you please provide a link to where I can buy the correct air filter?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks a lot!The 392 uses a unique air filter -

392 Owners Manual says:How often do you guys change the air filter?
Thank you Sir! I’ve only changed cabin air filter on my previous Jeep GC in the 3rd year of ownership and never replaced the engine air filter in 7 years. Will keep your words in mind.392 Owners Manual says:
30,000 miles normal service
12,000 miles for off-road (inspect or replace)
I changed mine at 12,000 miles with around 2,000 miles of dusty off-road. The engine air filter still looked pretty clean, probably could of left it alone.
The cabin air filter on the other hand, was heavily full of dust...
