With that dealer's mentality you have no warranty on your Jeep whatsoever. It only applies to them.Took mine to a dealer for the warranty claim - they said the warranty only applies to them, the dealer.
their response: I heard back from warranty and they stated that the windshield is not covered by the warranty. They stated "when the vehicle is sold or otherwise disposed of (i.e., the vehicle is no longer titled in consumer's name), the limited warranty ends.." I do apologize for this. "
When I said I was the consumer, I bought the vehicle new. They said they were the initial consumer: "Correct, the consumer they are speaking about is the dealership. I am getting with my General Manager to see if there's anything we can do. Unfortunately the warranty is Mopar/Stellantis so we can't change their minds."
The General Manager response was basically if I didn't like the answer, go back to dealer I bought it from.
