We went with a Warn Zeon Platinum 10S on my wife’s Jeep. We used the Mopar winch plate and everything fit great.

Interesting. that thing mounts completely different than anything else on the market! Do you think the Mopar plate was worth the extra cost? I'm guessing with the say its mounted, install was super simple.

Couple questions.... 1) where the upper inside bumper bolts still super hard to get on? 2) Is there anything supporting the front of the plate besides the actual bumper? Looks like the only frame attachment is the back of the plate.

We got a great deal from Jegs on Black Friday and paid similar to the Warn plate. The install took just over 3 hours and there was no frustration of anything not fitting. The inside bumper bolts were reached with a flex head 3/8 ratchet with a 3” wobble from the top for the upper bolts and a 9” wobble from the bottom for lowers. I’ve attached pictures of the front plate reinforcement brackets.

Here is the ratchet I used that made the job much easier due to being able to flex the handle.

Ohhhh. Wicked. So it bolts around to the backside of the frame bolts. Now I'm intrigued in because that is totally different than anyone else. I wonder if I can still find one for cheaper. Full price, the winch plate and fair lead adapter is like 600$. I'm jealous of your deal.

Thanks for the ratchet link. I actually just picked up one on friday because everyone says you need it to get those bolts on. I'm trying to get all the parts and tools so I don't have to run out halfway through when its all torn apart.

Interesting. there was a change to the mopar winch plate at some point. You can still find part number 82215182AB which has an MSRP of 345$ but there is an updated part number of 82215182AC that has an MSRP of 450$. I wonder what's different. I found the old part number online for 280$ and 36$ for the fairlead adapter. Thats almost the same as the warn.

I got the AC for less than $300 on BF from JEGS but had to also buy the fairlead adapter for $48.

Does the bumper flex when you tighten the hook to the fairlead? My 10S with Maximus-3 plate will flex the bumper a small amount. I wonder if the Mopar's extra fairlead bracket would help.
I don't think it would flex the bumper, but curious. I didn't know that about the maximus 3 but suspected based on how it fits and the adapter plate attaches to the bumper. The Warn and Mopar plates extend past the frame rails and fit tight against the back of the bumper. The farilead adapter plate on both warn and mopar attach directly to the mounting plate. I believe the Maximus and the JCR attach the fairlead to the bumper itself. at least that is how it appears in pictures.

Yes, that is exactly correct. The fairlead is attatched directly to the bumper (actually the adapter plate), and it is not thick enough to stop the bumper from flexing a small amount.

I don't think it's enough to cause any issues, but it did make me notice the first time.

I don’t have any flexing of the bumper tightening the Factor 55. I did winch a Ram 1500 up a 45 degree slope and did notice the winch move a 1/4 inch but that was a hard pull at an angle putting lots of tension on the rope and hawse fairlead.

I have a newbie question. Do you need to have a metal front bumper to install a winch? Or does the winch attach to,the winch plate and to the frame and the bumper can be the stock plastic model.

Generally yes, but I have seen some members use the winch plates with the OEM plastic bumpers and some cutting/custom work.
