Thatās not correct . It is a $7500 tax credit not a deduction off your income. If you paId at least $7500 i taxes you pay $7500 less in taxes. This includes all federal income tax paid either thru withholding or payments with your tax return.
The comparison here is between charging the battery using esave while driving vs charging the battery to run the air conditioner while the car is parked to keep it cool inside. I think esave would be more efficient because you can use regen to help charge the battery while driving.
Curious as to why you were running in esave mode. I have never tried it but I think you would still have air conditioning

Yes. I think you are right. Itās is calculating mpge when running full electric . The way you can tell is when you stop moving, there is still some electric energy being used and your mpg(e) starts to drop.
Tesla at one point had a prototype for that. The car would drive over a sunken bay and the olds battery would be remove and and new one inserted underneath the car.

Some progress with my 4xe Rubicon order placed on nov 13. Jeff from Jeep Support gave an ETA of May 11-25. My dealer reported the vehicle was in Washington State. Next stop should be Spokane and then on to Kellog Idaho to the dealer. Itās getting close.
I think your numbers are not correct.
The base price for the 4xe of $53190 is after the price increase. My sticker for the 4xe rubicon on the order I placed in Nov shows the original base msrp of $51695.
The base price for a gas only rubicon from the Jeep web site is $43970 not $42475
