1. How have your lockers held up? Any issues with the sensor or anything?
No issues with the lockers. I change the diff fluid front and rear every 25k miles.
2. How have the axles held up to the heavy 37s?
No issues with the axles on the 37's. We go to Rausch Creek and wheel hard blue's and...
The steering stop bolt is not the limiting factor with the steering with this build, it's the Synergy lower control arms. The Savegre offset causes the 37" tires to come in contact with the Synergy LCA's. 4.5 wheel offset would be better but we preferred the tread to be just under the fenders.
Did a battery replacement on the JL yesterday. We went with an Odyssey H7 for the main battery and a Duracell Aux14 for the auxiliary battery. Took about an hour and a half. I’m glad I bought extra clips for the fender because I broke 5. I used an E6 socket to remove and reinstall the battery...
Were you able to remove/install the FAD skid without removing the LCA skid? I wasn’t able to do that. I installed the LCA skids last night and went out today to install the FAD skid but couldn’t get it to fit even after removing the LCA skid nylon nut and pushing the end of the bolt flush with...
The Jeep has been working great for what we do so there haven’t been any updates. We are headed out tomorrow to run some blue trails at Rausch Creek in the snow so we decided to install the Rockhard 4x4 LCA skid plates that we have had sitting on the shelf for 2 years as a precaution.
Our 2019 Rubicon had an issue with the 37" Nitto Ridge Grappler on AEV Savegre II's rubbing the OEM Rubicon front skid plate on the passenger side until we installed an adjustable track bar to center the axle. The rubbing only happened at full lock turning left. It mostly happened in parking...
She-wee and wag bags. Pack in and pack out. I don't mind when people dig cat holes but it sucks when you pull up to an off the grid camp site and there is used toilet paper in the branches of the bushes because the tp got dug up by an animal or wasn't buried deep enough...
Adams Jeep in Aberdeen, MD gave us a call after the 1st of the year and replaced the aluminum steering box with the new steel one under the TSB that we had scheduled at the end of 2020. The Jeep steers significantly better on the highway at 70mph.
