Success with my order as well, I ordered the engine skid on Friday the 19th, one week later it was delivered via DHL. They also updated me every step of the way as to where it was. Two thumbs up.

I just posted on another thread, but I've been using the ASFIR oilpan/xfer case skid and banged it up pretty good at Big Bear. I came down on it hard enough that I cracked the weld. That ended up denting my exhaust but everything else looked fine.

Just an FYI of where the weak point on this skid is.

DHL was great to deal with. I had my skids in 4 days. The fitment of the Asfir engine skid is nice, I wish it covered more of the passenger side to include trans cooler lines but overall it does have solid coverage.

If the skid plate wasn't there, looks like the damage would have been direct to the exhaust. Maybe Asfir is not the best skid on the market, but probably better than not having a skid at all.

Oh - absolutely. I'm glad the skid plate was there, just want to point out to be aware of where the welds are. I still have this skid on my Jeep and will likely go with full ASFIR in the future since I know it's compatible with what I have.

I'm not worried about the little dent in the exhaust compared to how many times I've had to open up my tailpipe with a crowbar after I've pancaked it on a steep departure.

Been there, done that. I ended up cutting it back a few inches ahead of the bumper. Maybe an idea for a new skidplate? :)

Do you also asked about differential protection. The ARB differential covers are top notch, and I have used them on other builds. I ended up going with differential skids rather than differential covers as the rear differential has a gusset that hangs down on the bottom, that looks like it is a failure point. It is possible to do both covers and skids, but make sure they are compatible with each other if you go with different brands.

Seriously.
i got notification it's out for delivery today... Ordered Friday, delivered Tuesday. DHL international doesn't dick around, presigned for my delivery too, none of that "you were not here" shit.
