Saw this Defender coming out of one of the stores I worked.

Are those angry eyes on its stock headlights? If so are angry eyes as bad as an angry grill?

I like defenders, they're quite awesome vehicles...

Two doors only though. The two door looks awesome. The four doors look like station wagons. Only problem is where are you going to get service and parts.

I like that I can get the V8 in a 2 door...

But I don't like that it comes with a six figure MSRP even before options.

There is no "should", but, I personally don't get into bougie "off-roaders" with plastic bumpers and highway tires.

Now, an old-school Defender 90? I like those a little more.

If I had the money, and I could afford the potential lemon percentage, and like said, I could afford the upkeep and maintenance costs, I would totally buy a two-door Defender in a heartbeat.

On the flip side I'll be the idiot who's going to chop it up and modify the crap out of it.

you could turn into a “youtuber” of sorts (sorry I don’t much about social media, just that it prints money for people in ways I don’t get) and document how you give the defender the same treatment your JL gets ?

Jeep won’t put a V8 in a two door, won’t make a 2dr Glad, or put a V8 in it, discontinued the only engine with sufficient PU torque. For the price of that thing I could build a great 2dr reliable Toyota FJ45 to go with my V8 Wrangler.

I wouldn't even call that thing a Defender, saw it at the auto show, the flimsy plastic interior was falling off, definitely can't take it like the original.
