Iam a new member. I'll admit Ive been looking for a ford bronco for months and finally gave up. (Dont delete yet, I own a 2016 JK which Ive modified myself and love it) Iam not sure whats going on with Jeeps so I stopped by a local dealer today. I asked about the MSRP wondering if it was all a trick since most of the broncos were anywhere from $10K to 30K above sticker price. (Let alone not having any in stock). I asked the sales person what they can do if I were ready to buy on on the spot. I expected him to start in with all sorts of impossible things instead he actually told me they were $3500 below the sticker price. Then he said if I didnt like any of the 25 jeeps they had I could order one and get it in a month or two. Has anyone else ordered ? Can you actually get one? Also wondered about the engine. Is the V6 not available in automatic with the rubicons or do they have the 2L turbo?
Thanks for any help or information .

He offered to order you one? He can't order a 2023 right now, and the 2024s won't be ready in two months afaik.

But, you can definitely buy a new Jeep for below sticker price.

Ordering can take anywhere from a month to almost a year. It really depends on which options you want and whether the supply chain gods are with you.

As far as your engine question, the Rubicon is available in 5 powertrain options: 3.6, 3.6+etorque, 2.0, Plugin Hybrid (with 2.0), or 392. All 5 are available with 8 speed auto, with only the base 3.6 being offered with a 6 speed MT.

Welcome to the forum.

Apparently you can now order the 2024s. There are reportedly several changes, but no one has seen them yet.

Good luck.

Check out the spreadsheet in my sig for dealers that are offering below invoice pricing.

$3,500 under MSRP might be a decent price if the dealer doesn't add on a bunch of fees or other crap. The advantage of buying off the lot is you get it immediately. You probably, however, don't get exactly what you want. That requires a custom order...and the associated wait.

You’re close to both Gupton’s and Miracle. I’d contact/check their inventories. Also see what Their deals are when ordering,

If you want a manual transmission, there is a stop sale order on them due to a recall with no known solution announced.

Your not that far from Gupton CJDR in Springfield Tenn, and even closer to Miracle CJDR in Gallatin Tenn. They both offer 6% or so off MSRP. I paid around $47,000 for my Rubicon, and after the price increase (I was price protected) the sticker increased to $58555. I ended up $9000 + below MSRP. Picked it up in December...

Yup. Ordering through Gupton was the best thing I did while ordering my Jeep. Worst thing I did was leave off half doors because I thought I could buy them later… if you think you want half doors, order them!!!! You can sell them easily if you change your mind.

When all was said and done and I picked up my Jeep after a price increase (price protected), I was ~14% below MSRP.

If you find one that is even close is it better to grab it or try to order? I believe the dealer can add on a 1 inch spacer and I can get the 35 in tires added. (iam not sure you even need a spacer for 35's if you have a rubi). Also I havnt asked yet if they can put on a hitch kit with the aux switches. Even the steel bumper one should be able to put on yourself. My point is if I cant order one now and they have one close to what you want Better grab it if I can add on the things above.

If you order it you get exactly what you want without having to do things like getting a crappy spacer-based lift. The 2024s are right around the corner with significant (IMHO) upgrades. If you can wait then wait for it.

You probably don't want to order it through your local dealer. Hopefully that's been made clear.

100% give Daniel at Gupton a call. If he's got something on the lot that you like, he'll probably make you a great deal. If not, he's one of the best dealers to do a custom order through - many of us, myself included, ordered via Gupton. It was downright disturbing how easy the process was - I bought in 2021 but wound up paying ~15% off MSRP on my factory order through Gupton. Yes, FIFTEEN PERCENT. Bananas.

Ordered my 23 during the 22-23 change over and it was about 9 weeks order to driving it home. I also stuck to minimal option on top of the Rubicon. It seems like the Advanced Safety groups, 392 and the XR are what are the biggest hold ups.
