Good deal. Maneuvering the bar is rarely the issue - it's hassling with those damn bolts that kills me. Having the OEM steel bumper in stubby mode helps significantly, but I'd rather it just be a pin to pull.
Slipped a disc in my back this weekend trying to loosen the bolt on my passenger side after having my local shop install a steering stabilizer, so this has moved up on the priority list.
Assuming I don't have the budget for AutoLynx, what's the next best solution for a Sahara? I do have an AUX...
Could pick up again. Some good shares already though.
I worked at RadioShack in ~2011-2014 and had a 3D printer on my desk to play with. SUPER fun. It was the Afinia. Good machine, I printed all sorts of stuff.
This was my thought reading the OP. Constant swapping of the batteries but no mention of checking the overall system. Lots of points between the two batteries that could have been causing issues.
You've listed several different things that aren't all included.
SiriusXM music is what you can get down to $4-5/month. Gives you satellite-based music (instead of terrestrial) and is good if you're on the road a lot, but it's hardly ad-free.
SiriusXM Guardian (apparently now called Jeep...
A few concrete (and more cost-effective) things you can do to improve the road trip experience:
Get a dead pedal. I have the Hooke one - cheap, easy to install, sturdy, etc. Super helpful, IMO.
Investigate @DesertDoesIt's SeatSlammers, if you're tall. These are on my list, so I can't speak from...
It does no actual harm to your Jeep. If it doesn't bother you, then don't sweat it, my friend.
Many here hate it because they hate anything that has to do with technology. They would prefer if they could buy a Jeep with a Rubicon suspension and Sport cab - as bare bones as possible.
Others...
Your local FB Marketplace is a great place to sell these. You can post them publicly, but since you're in Dallas, the North Texas Jeep Club also has a B/S/T-specific group you can join and post to, so that it's seen specifically by other local Jeepers.
I usually do a search for whatever it is...
It does, and from what I understand, it actually tracks this variable to your driving habits, which is, admittedly, pretty cool.
I just personally prefer to keep to every 5K miles. When I reset it, it's usually still got around 40-50% "life" remaining. Oil changes are cheap (DIY).
Assuming a...
All of this. I have a Spotify Family plan for less than $20/month that gives the four of us plus my grandma unlimited ad-free music where we can build our own playlists, etc.
I was a long-time holdout on streaming music. An iPod Classic + torrents + MediaMonkey was bliss, but honestly, I was...
As others have noted, none of this is needed with today's vehicles, but I get that old habits die hard. I've not manually turned my headlights on or off since my first car, lol.
100% full stop. I despise SiriusXM. Mostly because of the monopoly that they seem to have on connected services in...
