My pavement princess with 37s and 4.88s. While my commute is a bit further than yours I couldn’t imagine tolerating 3.73s. Is there anyone around you with a similar setup that you could drive to see how it actually feels and responds?

You feel that with the 3.73 it'd way too sluggish or??? I dont actually know anyone with a similar setup unfortunately. Thats why I turned to the forum.

Add two Loonies per liter with that setup. Very poor choice. I had 3.45s with 35's and it really sucked after a few months. Went with 4.88s and it was great. Could have used 4.56 but I have room for the mountains.

Keep the 35's, you live in Ontario and are not permitted to get any use from 37's.
With the 35s on it now I dont find it horrible but I also dont have anything to compare it to as far as being in something with 4.88 or 4.56 . Its def not a powerhouse

Its def more of a look situation not much offroading going on
Keep in mind finding 37/20 in less than E load will be difficult. I checked MTBB and Toyo AT3, both E. E with a short sidewall- ride will also be less than optimal for a pavement princess.

I've used these 35x12.5x20 "knockoff" similar too toyo open country with load range E and have been fairly decent when you consider the discounted price . The ride hasn't been too bad . The E load range tho is likely an inaccurate rating. But I've been pleased with them . Ive had the mt and the at on different trucks over the years. Id be looking for the same brand in 37s if I go that route

Haven’t seen them…. 37/12.50/17’s also suffer from high load range. I would like to upgrade to 37’s next set…. BUT, I like my 59 lb 35/C AT3’s and hoping choices other than BFG release C’s by the time I need tires.

Honestly these things work pretty well i think they have a bfg pattern aswell. And the price point is real good .

Try the 37s and see how you like it. Worst case, regear it. I would keep your axles since you basically have rubicon axles. Just need a regear maybe.

And if you want lockers, throw those in while youre in there. At least a rear locker, or a truetrac
Lockers to go with his 20s???

You'll notice it feeling a little more sluggish, but you will like having the 37s more than you'll dislike the sluggishness. Do it!

Yeah 4:88 and ditch the 20’s. Go back to 17’s
Why go back to 17s? 37s will give plenty of sidewall to air down…why aren’t you running bead locks…rhetorical question. It’s a Sahara, probably doesn’t have lockers…it looks like a pavement, light trail rig…it’ll never see 8th gear…mine doesn’t on 35s! 13MPG…

What combo is giving you 13 MPG? That's bizarre for anything that doesn't have a 392.

750lb fuel wheels, 3.73 gearing, and a lead foot probably.
