There are some modifications you can do to lower your oil and coolant temperatures.

The most effective thing is changing the fan schedule to come on at lower temperatures. RPM Extreme sells a fan control module that you splice into your PCM harness. It's very effective. The other method equally effective, is reprogramming the PCM fan schedule with HPTuner , Diablo etc. Other mods can help reprogramming to be more effective in more extreme conditions. Larger radiators, such as Mishimoto, add more margin. A higher output 850w or 940w, fan from Gladiators ,392s,etc are also effective for adding margin.
…and have the optimal gearing before doing all that, no?

You will need bigger rims, probably 24" or 26" rims.
What about the wheel will he need to get larger of those too or just the rim?

Yes I’ve seen that plug and play harness. I haven’t jumped in it yet . I really should just regear and monitor…if it fixes the problem…awesome. I’m also hesitant because I have close to 90k on my motor…do I just keep doing what I’m doing (it’s working) or do I put more money into my 90k motor when at some point I’ll be putting money into regardless for regular wear and maintenance parts. I dunno. If I had an extra $300 laying around I’d probably do it yesterday lol. I wish Jscan had something i could program

Probably smaller tire to fit on the larger rim because it will stay on there better. It's like a loose pair of pants vs a tight pair of pants, my logic is sound.
