Poor taste all around it is then!
I'd rather see one tastefully lowered than most of the monstrosities rolling around south florida..

Spring and shock swaps are cheap. Knocking the ugly and useless off one of these is an entirely different story..

HOLY F*CK I can't believe we are even having this conversation. Karl Probst is probably rolling over in his grave right now. There is no such thing as a "tastefully lowered Jeep". That's like saying "well he's a good natured pedophile"...

but it's easily reversible for minimum dollars.. that ugly 6x6 monstrosity will NEVER be a normal looking jeep again.

And you're right, he probably would be.. He would have hated the CJ7 for being too long, and the CJ8 for being strange, and the YJ for having square headlights and the TJ for being fuel injected and not leaf springs.

Nope wrong answer. All of those models were the next evolution in capability. I argue he would be proud to see the evolution of his creation and what each next version was capable of. He didn't create a beast that was to be lowered, 6x6 puke fest or mall crawled. Then again I'm one of those a$$holes that doesn't even like seeing a Jeep stock, I think they should be built out and wheeled. @Roky please help me... I feel so alone right now

Think however you choose. When I'm 80 and can't climb into one on 37s and 3.5" of lift, I'm not going to give up on having a wrangler, so if driving a stock 2 door rubicon is the answer, so be it..

The only way any vehicle looks timeless is if it's stock.
Huge tires that are never used look as ridiculous as any lowered Jeep.
It's all for show.

This is a Jeep…… in its natural habitat as God intended……, I’m not sure what these other monstrosities are but they all made me throw up in my mouth a little……🤮

I wheeled with a guy who's 94 and his 95 year old wife and they were 2" on 35s. I pray I can be that way at that age. And when I say wheel I mean they were wheeling/rock crawling with the rest of us. May not have taken the hardest line, but he crawled. He actually has an obstacle named after him in Sand Hollow on the West Rim trail. If at 80 we are in stock Jeeps so be it. But for now I'm wheeling my balls off until I can't and looking down my nose at mall crawlers and abominations like the ones on this post :)

Simple solution for when we are 80...
