First post here, please be kind. 😆

Way back in 2018 I bought my first Jeep, a new Cherokee Trailhawk. Loved it for nearly 4 years when I traded it in for this...

This is my 2021 Willys with the 2.0L auto.

I had it for about 3 weeks when I got hooked up with a local group and went out to play in the mud.

It wasn't long after this trip that I felt the need to start modifying.

I started out with a new bumper.

This is the Tactik Stubby Front Bumper with Hoop from Quadratec.

Still waiting on a winch and lights.

I followed that up with a new Reaper Offroad Immortal S1 skid plate

Most recent purchase was the new Quadratec Baja Fender Flares. I was going to put these on this weekend but I'm afraid it's going to look ridiculous with the factory 31" tires.

Welcome, seems to me you're doing what everyone here has done-got it dirty and had a blast doing it. Good Luck and getting another credit card just for the Jeep is totally understandable. lol

Looks great! Welcome aboard!
I drove Ram diesels of one form or another from 2000 til last year. Loved them - The last one was in 2018 and supposed to be my forever truck. Then we got a JLUR….
Poor truck became the red headed step child. Drove the Jeep everywhere, found myself trying to find a reason to keep the truck. Best I could come up with was to trailer the Jeep places…
In the end, the desire to drive a Jeep won out so we traded in the truck on another one! Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants lol.

Enjoy that thing, take it on road trips, make memories.

Small project. Installed the Reaper Offroad inner fenders and Quadratec Baja flares over the weekend. I didnt get to the fronts yet, need to modify the marker lights to fit.

2" wheel spacers are a temporary measure until I get new wheels and tires.

Yeah, gotta wear these out then going to 35s!
If the mileage isn’t too high on your current rubber, maybe spring for new tires/wheels now, and then sell the current stock ones to offset your purchase! I did that with my Jeep and it worked out good.

Not liking the way the rear plastic bumper corners no longer line up with the new flares, I decided to fix it.

Took about 20 minutes to pull the bumper and remove the ends.

Edumacate me - what benefit do you receive from the Reaper inner fenders? Is there an actual benefit, or is it more for looks? Not being a smart ass, I really don't know.

Removing the OEM flares and liners, I had to have some protection. I could have left the back open, but you want something on the front. I liked the look of the Reapers so I went with them.

Just ordered a set of 5 of the Quadratec Morphic wheels in black.

I like the look of the factory wheels, but want to run a wider tire. I'm contemplating Nitto Ridge Grapplers, 35x12.50R17, but before I commit I'd like to find out if they're going to fit without a lift. Can only do so much at a time, ya know?

Only change from stock, at the moment, is the higher clearance fenders as seen in previous posts.

Thoughts?

I have a JLU Willys and was curious about these Quadratec fender flares or the OEM rubicon high top ones (I switched front bumpers and the full width ends are curved up so much they touch my fender flares now).

Was there a reason you needed the 2" wheel spacers after changing just the flares? I was planning on keeping my wheels maybe indefinitely, and my tires for a long time before eventually moving up to 33s one day.
