Not to muck up the waters too much more but if you're not doing hardcore crawling you could also look into adding the factory Rubicon suspension or even the XR suspension. There are takeoffs posted on a pretty regular basis or you can also order the parts new from our vendors but both options would let you comfortably stay within your budget.

I'm looking into that route to add a small lift to my 2dr JLR. I'm not planning on going more than 35s and the XR suspension should give me a true 1.5-2" over my Rubicon suspension. I'll be adding the lower control arms from the Mopar kit to add caster.

So, I have not ruled anything out, including spacer lifts. I am sure that after some more research and after I install whatever I end up with I will have a better understanding of how all this works, and wranglers work.

But, looking at spacer lifts is even more confusing, dam. some have just the 4 spacers, some are throwing a couple of arms, some washers, brackets, some have springs, some don't but have shocks. Holy crap. I guess more research cause I couldn't tell you what is needed at a min. what is a good spacer lift. Superlift seems like they offer a pretty good lift, but it's probably junk. LOL.

IDK

Sounds like you could use some more time to research. Most people will purchase a lift/parts and defend it even if they have buyer's remorse for the sake of saving face.
I went with the Dynatrac 2". while it's not a bad kit, the AEV would have been a much better and capable lift for the same $coin.
Spacer lifts/Pucks belong on body lifts and fat women's shoes.

Question someone might be able to answer. I read that if you have the Rubicon shocks you don't need the shock extenders for a spacer lift like the Teraflex lift I posted. I am assuming the Rubicon shocks have more travel?

It was on an older post on here.

Rubi shocks aren’t long enough for a 2.5” lift, you’ll still need extensions.

You aren't going to convince anybody that a Mopar lift is sufficient by posting pics of your Jeep in mall crawler poses.
nothing screams mall crawler more than a guy with plastic bumpers :CWL:

I’m not the guy saying that Mopar lifts are the go to for off-road.

I’m the guy that bought a lightly used Rubicon and decided to spend my money on important shit first. Ya’ know, like a proper lift.

As opposed to the ultra-tough factory steel bumpers? You keep thinking you’re the shit, when in fact you just keep giving us more reasons to laugh at you. It’s one thing if you keep your mouth shut, but to come in and try and tout how awesome your gear is is quite another thing all together.
