Well will it be 420 hp with 469 TQ OR 540 hp and 521 TQ According to Ram they are offering the same gear ratio`s 3.21, 3.55, and 3.92
It's going to be interesting comparing this to my Raptor TT V-6 vs a straight 6 TT
At least there will be a lot of Hoptions for the six. Just a larger intercooler will get you some ponies and a tune to control the trans too would be great!
Now how much will it add to the cost of a Rubicon 392 vs TT6, t`s already out of control on the pricing, and it seems like the value of my 21 392 XR is sinking.
My MSRP on my 12/21 392 XR was $82,345 back in the beginning of 22, with the $350 tow pkg. $295 red paint, $3995 XR pkg, $525 Headliner, $195 Gorilla Glass and $595 for the trail cam plus $1595 for delivery. I have not looked it up to see what it is worth but I`m sure like most it`s not good

As far as Jeep values go I thought they held better than most but they all have a downward curve. It would be interesting to see if your 392 is holding value better or worse than other Jeeps. May be interesting to see how it looks a couple years after the 392 is out of production. I keep sinking more mods into my jeep as it is just my stress reliever to go wheeling. I am sure my mods decline faster that then value of my jeep and it would be worse to start a build like this all over so I keep going. I expect to have mine for long enough to get every dime of fun out and then some.

3.0 liter Twin turbo inline 6. Had a similar engine spec in my old BMW 135I. 325 hp & 325 tq. Tuneable to over 400 hp with simple flash tune and upgraded intercooler and charge pipe.

The bmw 1M was an unrivaled car. It sold above MSRP and likely still does for low mileage vehicles even now 15 years later.

No, the 3.6L sucks. My 4.0L was a great engine. It actually had torque crawling.

If the I6 makes it into the wrangler or the gladiator…it will be similar to the 392, all top shelf options and a banger of a sticker price. Maybe even $100k!

I’ve got a TT I6 in my M2, getting 470hp at the wheels, so somewhere pushing toward 600 at the crank.

Not that I really care, but in the small 3800lbs car I’m getting 18mpg, MT. Can’t wait to see what it gets in the jeep ?

It’s honestly a pretty thrilling engine tho. I like it.
