Just hit 2500km, and after towing a boat for a few hours and watching that average tank on me, I gave it a reset to see where I’m at now. After conversion it’s just under 20mpg. Not bad. Marginally better than my wife’s 2014 caravan and not much worse than the little Mazda 3 my Rubi replaced. Colour me impressed.

15mpg average with 17" beadlocks, and 37" Cooper S/T Maxx tires.

2.5" lift.

Also have full steel belly skids.

A DV8 front bumper with winch.

And steel side step rock sliders.

And flat fenders that don't cover much.

Not bad, I must say.

Had a massive (and sudden) drop from 20 to mid 17s. Dropped within a day of light driving. I want to tell myself it's because the weather dropped suddenly and I'm praying its not the rocker arms going bad.

2k miles on my JLUR manual & I’m averaging 15.something or other mpg. I’m just south of San Francisco. Mostly start and stop driving in hilly terrain.

Bout 17 with 1300 miles on the clock and 100% gas. 3.6 auto but a lot of stop and go city. 24 -25 if I reset once cruising on the interstate and not in a hurry.

3.6 auto got a staggering 29.6 mpg over 30 miles of flat 55 mph driving about 6 car lengths behind a school bus. Then on the return trip, no bus, 75 mph was 21.9 mpg. Best over ever seen out of it. The 29 mpg figure shocked me. Definitely not regular driving. Guess the aerodynamics, speed, highway conditions, and mpg gods were all on board.

Which engine do you have? I remember reading somewhere on this forum about bad batteries or something causing poor mpg.

I just hit 2400 miles and am starting to see improvement. It was averaging 16.7 until about 1500 miles. Then it started averaging 17.6-17.7 until about 2100 miles. It’s up to 18.8 now. Most of my daily driving is 2 lane country roads with a lot of stop signs. Down the highway at 65-75 it’s doing well above 20

I noticed the same thing, we go fishing on the E. Carson river quite a bit and our first trip from the Central Valley over Carson Pass we got 18.1 mpg, put a few more miles on it and the next trip was19.4 mpg. The 21.7 we got on our last trip over the pass was with 1654 miles on it. I just turned 2400 miles and am looking forward to seeing what i get next week on our next trip over there.
