Doc... Duh.
2020 JLUR stock 33” Ko2. Plastic bumpers but 140lbs of rock slide engineering step slides.
3.6 manual.

I’m getting about 19s generally but 18s this week with mostly city driving. When I’m mostly highways it’s low 20s.

I think I have gotten as good as I can get on mine. I now average up to 22mpg with a JLUR 3.6m. I rarely dip below 20.5 on average and haven’t reset in about 4K miles.

I was driving with a very soft foot shifting early to get to my target speed. The Jeep seems to hate that. I’ve found really revving 2nd and 3rd gear up to speed then setting it in cruising gear with cruise control is the best way (and more fun to drive this way).
Cruising gears
25: 3rd
35-45: 4th
55: 5th
65: 6th.

I generally don’t go above 55 even on the 65mph highway (no traffic) but even at 65 I’m not changing my MPG much at all. I just like the wind with everything open at 55.

Mostly 25-mile trips to/from work, 95% of that under 60mph. Not great, but not awful for a wheeled brick.

Here is a screenshot of the log from my fillup app that I use to track the MPG's on my 2018 JLUR with 3.6L auto. The dash usually shows higher than what the app calculates. As a side note. When I lived in Missouri I averaged around 18 mpg. But since moving to Durango CO in June I have been averaging over 22 mpg. The few tanks I averaged 19 and 20 on included some 4 wheeling in 4L in the mountains. If you don't include those tanks the average is actually over 23mpg. I normally drive 5 mph over the posted speed limit. I assume the thinner air here causes less wind drag helping the mileage. But that's just a guess.

LOL! I think the same thing. I Avg about 19 here in the C. Springs with 2" lift and 35's. I went back to Oklahoma to visit family and Avg 16.5 while there. I'm not sure if you've been here for winters yet. But, expect a pretty drastic drop from "winter gas' and more use of heating. I think last year I lost like 2 mpg.

My JLUR is still quite new, this is my latest consumption on about half a tank. A little bit of highway driving, but mostly commuting to work and back.

9.0km/l = 21.17MPG

I know this is an old thread but.... I had a 2010 JKUR auto, lifted with steel bumpers and 35's and I usually got 14-16 mpg. Now I'm in a 2018 JLUR auto, tazer, on 35's and I'm installing a lift in 2 weeks. I'm getting around the same mileage as my JKUR. I'm surprised in the difference between the 3.8 with the 4 speed transmission and the 3.6 with the 8 speed. It's awesome to drive and the creature comforts are leaps and bounds ahead of my JK. It's a jeep and I didn't buy it for the gas mileage but what the hell!? I expected to get in the 16-18 mpg range after reading all of the posts from other people running similar set-ups. What gives? I'm in south central Kansas, relatively flat, combo of highway and city and not an aggressive driver... 🤔 It had 250 mi on it when it was delivered and I'm almost to 10,000 mi and haven't noticed an increase in mileage after some people talked of a break in period. I just need to enjoy the upgrades and ignore it, lol, it's a brick I know.

First and foremost, the computer mpg is notoriously OFF by -2 mpg - for what its worth. I have an 18' Sahara 2" lift, 35s ATs 4 CYL Turbo/Hybrid (Reg Unleaded) - sea level I average about 17-19mpg this picture shows mostly highway mileage and its windy AF right now so I wear a capt's hat whilst piloting my rig LOL :)

GasMileage.jpg
I have since went up to 3.5" lift and 37s along with a regear to 5.13s - Computer is off by +2 mpg so I am averaging 18/20 city/hwy. I am able to get into 8th at 42mph. I do mostly city driving for those opting for more highway 4.88s would be better. The difference between 4.88s and 5.13s is +200rpm at any given speed with the 5.13s

Yeah just enjoy it. i Like you must have been giving a different Jeep. 15 mpg is the best for me. No clue where these folks get north of 20. I drive like a grandma. It is just my weekend toy so never in a hurry. Relatively flat. Even when air was bone stock it was high 16’s. For me to get 22 I would have to be coasting down hill with a tail wind.

I'm lucky to get 16mpg.
Think ill try pencil, paper and calculator like entropy said.
Maybe my numbers will improve with proven technology.

Would need to get photos since I'm currently at work but I'm hitting about 21.5 mpg in my 2021 JLU Willys. Mostly highway driving where I'm located. Was expecting a few mpg less so I'm overall satisfied. My fuel range when topped off shows 400-430 mile range, but I'm skeptical this is accurate.
