Don't forget the Italians:

Germans?
Forget it, he's rolling.
I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!

And we're just the guys to do it!

Here is an interesting related safety question: Let's just suppose you had just picked up your brand new JL from the dealer 4 days ago. Then the air bag light stays on and you take it to the dealer who tells you there is a faulty secondary sensor. They do not know if it will prevent all airbag deployment or if it will just prevent passenger airbag deployment. There are no parts available to replace it currently. They will have to obtain a part from the factory and it may take several weeks (or longer).
Do you park it, or drive it?
Yeah, it happened.

Park it as a insurance adjuster I have seen some crazy stuff. I would not drive it, what if the sensor malfunctions and all of the bags blow while you are cruising down the highway

I guess I am now the proud owner of a $50,000 yard ornament. They sent the "case" up to FCA as they got nowhere trying to find a part and were unable to tell me if the malfunction involved the whole system or just the passenger bags. I was hoping my dealer would help arrange some alternate transportation, but it looks like he will be happy to rent me a dodge dart for the "usual price".

Sorry to hear. :surprised::surprised::surprised:

Even worse, that is rather crappy customer service.

Once the issue is resolved and if you have another Jeep dealership near you, I would highly suggest you take your business elsewhere with regards to any dealer service.

Nothing I hate worse is buying a product and once when you’re done with the sale they basically cast you aside. Very pathetic and unfortunate to say the least.

Make sure you look at the lemon laws. Even still, I think in some states you can return a new car in so many days for a refund.

You paid all that money - why start this shitshow?
