not to be a dick but do not get the mopar kit, it is not a real reinforcement, if the soft spot the hinges are not changed it does nothing but add weight. I had a rental with the mopar reinforcement on 35's and it flex'd like crazy on the road.
As a long-time member of the JK forum (I know that we talking about the JL here), I can tell you that broken hinges are a red herring - the tailgate rivets are the part(s) that break. I don't believe that I've heard of a single hinge failure. And...yes, there are folks on that forum, who also are in denial about having to upgrade for 35s and above. That said, the only good carrier is frame or bumper-mounted, IMO.
