It's odd to think Mopar would not have tested to make sure the items these Teraflex brackets are supposed to fix. Sometimes I feel like it's just a constant barrage of products fixing any mods done.
I think Mopar did test it, on the JLs that have the correct front end geometry. Since there is a welding problem in the same area, then it is most likely they aren't consistently welding in the correct spots, throwing the geometry off, thus the brackets are correcting the caster problem caused by the incorrect geometry.

I've had my 2" Mopar lift on my JLUR since May and have had no issues. I was wanting to hold off until Terraflex would have their lift available but I was told that it wouldn't be until the end of the summer. It was my understanding that Terraflex was also going to model their lift after the Mopar lift so I would think that things would be quite similar between the two.

OKAY! i need some back up here! i was SO HAPPY with my RUBICON TIRES/WHEELS on my JLUS. It was a NICE TIGHT SOLID ride!
"GET THE MOPAR 2" LIFT THEY SAID".... "IT WILL BE GREAT THEY SAID".... well... as 'sort of smooth' as it is.. i am NOT completely HAPPY nor SATISFIED with this lift!

IS THERE something else i'm missing? MY JL is ALL over the fkn road ESP. on the highway! i have to keep a HARD 2 hands GRIP on the steering wheel. I feel i lost the best driving feeling there is and now i'm just SMDH as to why it drives the way it does.

ANY TIPS? ANY SUGGESTIONS? anyone else out there happy/unhappy with the MOPAR? is is just ME? LOL

THANKS EVERYONE!
When I got mine done they didn’t tighten the sway at and did that

Something minor has been over looked.
1.With Jeep flat on the ground check torque specs on every component. (especially front and rear track bar)
2. Tire pressure for 35's is crucial. All mine roll better at 28-32 psi cold. (eliminates bump steer)
3. Front lower control arm relocation brackets or adjustable lower arms make a crazy improvement on the "twitchy/flighty" feel.

Addressing all of the above has made all 3 of my lifts very comfortable in comparison to just throwing on a lift and tires out of the box.

I had the same problem with my Mopar lift and steering wobble. I'm sure if you search my history it will be everywhere there is a thread about steering issues. Above 50 my steering wheel would wobble very very sightly and would drive me up the wall. I tried many things and the best fix for it was adjustable control arms. I extended them to around 6.5 ish degrees of caster (metalcloak recommended 5.5-6.5 and Rusty's even had theirs closer to 7) and it made a night and day difference. The wobble is gone almost entirely on our terrible Illinois roads, there's only one spot I drive on where I can feel it start to happen and this is so minor it's not even 1/32" movement on the wheel if I had to guess .

If I could do it over I would have waited and just gotten a metalcloak lift with falcon shocks or something else that comes with all the proper geometry fixing bits. I ignored all of that when ordering the Mopar lift because I figured a lift from Jeep themselves would be solid. It isn't.

Ignore the zip ties in the photo, ran it like that to the hardware store so I could get a cutoff wheel for that damn brake line bracket.

Did you get your tires put on at the same time? I bet it is over 90% of your issue. Are they load range E? Lower the pressure to about 28 lbs.

I had the Mopar 2" kit put on today on my brand new jlu. I took it for a test drive on the stock tires and rims. I did notice it seemed to be top heavy or want to sway and drift some. No where as nice as it was stock. I told the dealer about it and he said to wait until the new tires and rims are here and then check it again. They also found that the ball joints on the drag link were "wore out". My jl has 1000 miles on it. How could they be wore out? They took a drag link off a new jeep to get mine rolling as they said drag links are on backorder. Probably due to lots of others else having similar issues. I wish I had stayed away from the lift kit. Maybe the brackets are a fix but how would I find out? Is there a way to measure it to determine if the brackets would work or not?

What is the tire pressure. Seems to be a huge deal on the JL. Lots
Of people have had tire pressure way too high.
You can get a digital angle App for your phone and place it up on the knuckle. To get an idea what the castor is. Granted you can get a digital angle finder as well.

I will lower the tire pressure this weekend. They are around 38 front and 40 rear.

My Rubicon rides and handles better at 37-40 pressure. I tried around 33 and it didn’t do good there. The BFG KO 2 tires seemed to have to much flex in the side walls at low pressure. They are C load rated. I have the Two inch Mopar lift and it does great around 37-40. This time of the year I can start out at 39 and end up at 37 after the first cold spell.

2" should not throw off the caster enough where drop brackets would be needed. Something else is wrong here. Did you torque the control arms after the vehicle was on the ground with tires? Is the trackbar secure? Are the springs seated correctly?
It’s not really a 2” lift. It’s more like 3.5

My Mopar is 2.75 in the front 2.25 in the back after settling some, and I originally lost 1/2 to 3/4 inch in the front due to winch and other accessories and that was on stock springs. So actually mine is about 2 inches in front from what it was stock without the winch on it!
