I keep going back and forth on this with my wife LOL. BUT seriously I'ts just an inch more overall, but I keep worrying about the hit in performance. YES I know I have a big ass motor, and 4.56 gears, BUT I do live in the mountains, and I already cry every week at the pump.
For a spacer lift I have no clue why you would need wheel spacers.
NOW maybe someone is recommending them to widen your track width by pushing the tires out a bit. but for a 1.5" coil spring spacer and running stock everything else. no I do not think you need to.
And 48 hours later Adventure guides showed up. So IF you do the factory reset expect 2 days min before everything downloads, and updates. Again just like trail recordings yesterday morning, I auto started the jeep and went out and BAM there it was loaded and waiting.
As an update for mine, did the factory reset about 24 hrs ago, then this morning on the way to work the trail breadcrumbs showed up. So I expect the rest to download in the next day or two.
yep the best thing is to talk with your installer and do it how they recommend. My shop was really accommodating, and do WAY higher end cars than my Jeep (there was 2 Ferraris and a Lambo in the shop at the same time as my Jeep) so I know they know their stuff, well I would THINK they do LOL.
SOOOO, go figure I go out to try it and it tells me vehicle can not be in motion.......ahhh I'm parked and just sitting there. LOL well I will try again later.
If I was doing just Ceramic I would just put that OVER the decals. For PPF (like mine is) I pulled the decals, then installed PPF, then re installed all decals. AFTER that I would ceramic coat OVER them. I was told by the place that did my PPF, that if the decals were flat even after ceramic...
I know Life gets in the way. I still have not done the half doors or a ceramic coating to it.
I did the decal from Pixel decals. The shop actually screwed up (was supposed to have the fender vents but the shop decided to stick the two layers together, instead of putting them on one layer at a...
yep this is how they did mine. Like I mentioned above they pulled my fenders off, hell even pulled the tailgate off and did it (I did not know that part until I saw their little Instagram reel of my jeep). The installer also cut out individual pieces for each hinge, and you almost cant even see...
I did PPF as well, but being this jeep is gonna be driven till I probably die, I did the WHOLE thing. The shop had it for almost 2 weeks doing the PPF. They pulled it apart!!! even pulled the tailgate too (I just found that out LOL). BUT it was expensive. Like I cried when I had to pay for it...
So far I've had almost ZERO issues. they one time I did have an issue was when I was on a trail, and had the heater on. With the dash vent working. after about an hr on the trail, it was starting to become unresponsive. turns out with the heater blowing with the dash vents, the bottom of the...
