Did I get the wrong color Blue??

My $0.02 would be to get a pic in the sunshine.

It's a pearlcoat, so it's going to change depending on the lighting. Just like Bikini, Mojito and Tuscadero.

I ordered my 2022 JL Unlimited Sport S in February. I built it all out on the Jeep site, chose Hydro Blue Pearl-Coat based on the pictures on the site. That's pretty much the whole reason I got this car is because I loved the color:

This to me looks like a light blue. Now I'm seeing images of Hydro Blue wranglers online and it is NOT this color, it's more like a navy color blue. I'm gonna be driving quite a few hours to go pick this up when it comes in, have obviously put a deposit down ... am I not getting the color that I thought I was getting? I'm gonna be so sad if I show up and it's a dark blue

Some of the pictures I see look much darker and some of them look like the right color. Are there multiple types of Hydro Blue?

rive by your local Dodge dealer. Good chance they will have a Ram in that color. You can usually check the window sticker online so you will know before you go.

I think as a general rule, you are probably correct. I don't roll that way, but I know many do.

Exception to the rule is if its a Chief, Hydro or Hella, I will sincerely gush to you about how gorgeous it is, otherwise I won't. ?

I think Jtwade's pic captures it well. It really varies greatly in color depending on how the light hits it. In a parking garage it will look like a darker blue, but in the sun the color can really pop

Yea this is really more of what I wanted. I have seen these on the road, so neat looking. Oh well ... is it possible to just get a paint job if they come out with this color again? Does Jeep do that?

If you dangle enough money anything can be done.

Instead of repainting a vehicle in a different color, these days people go for a professional wrap.

Either or, I wouldn’t do it, but that’s just me.

Hi,

Can relate, ordered it based on the image, then got really scared as they had a Ocean Blue in the show room and the sales guy tried convincing me it was Hydro. After all was said and done Hydro Blue Pearl is a nice color, still a little bright, for lack of a better term, even when dirty and overcast which works as going to be a winter ride.

Also unless you want one of the 5 shades of gray you are kind of bumming, as choices are very limited on color, and what is actually available...

You'll like it it's nicer in real life.

Jeep won't paint your used jeep, no matter how much money you dangle in front of them.

But, a good body shop can paint your new Wrangler any color you choose.

You'll probably be a bit surprised though at how much coin you'll need to hand over.

There is no wrong blue color on a Jeep.

But sting gray is better.

It is literally the 392 launch color. tons of real pictures out there. Don’t look a the jeep site images.

Hydro Blue is a Bright Blue, but not like Carolina Blue, it is more of a deep, rich blue and is absolutely stunning in person.
