Interesting. I mean, I only get mild DW reliably on one road near me, which is a highway with particularly rough expansion joints. I drove it the other day and noticed I haven't gotten it in a while, and "a while ago" it was cold, so...maybe?

I dunno, it was never that bad so I never worried too much about it. I might request a new damper next time I'm in for service, but not losing any sleep over it.

"The NHTSA has investigated, and determined that it does not pose a significant safety risk."

In short, ain't nobody died, so we don't care. You gotta love the government.

I will say that on the interstate at over 70 mpg's when mine hits that perfect bump you can feel a slight wobble. It's nothing disconcerting, but I think I can figure out how an owner feels when they have the full blown thing. As my dear old Daddy used to say, "That would scare my mule".

This story below was published on the Fox News website yesterday, 8/12/2019. I'm surprised that it wasn't picked up by someone and posted here until now. According to the article, FCA says the fix will be free to only 2018 JL owners. Has anyone heard anything different? What about @JeepCares -- maybe they can chime in and enlighten everyone a bit about this story.

Its for all JL owners, not just 2018

I took mine in the other day for regular service, and mentioned that at 70+ I can play the steering wheel from 11/1130 to 1230/1 and not have much change in direction. Day 1 they didn't find anything aka "tech couldn't replicate the issue," but day 2 I noticed on my invoice that they are ordering a new trackbar. May put a small

It seems to be only 70+ I get that almost "unbalanced" feel from the tires, but it hasn't gotten too concerning just yet.

I have had my 2018 JL Rubi for a while now (8 months) and do a lot of highway driving. Never experienced it even at high speeds

Will the dealer check it out if I bring it in

Got my replacement today, had a look at it when I left the dealership, I thought they put it on wrong and went back. There's a sticker that says "front of vehicle" with a arrow pointing to the rear of the vehicle, they said it's on correct just upside down. Is this correct?
