Seriously, what’s the consensus on Falcon shocks? They seem to be pretty well respected, yet I’ve never been 1000% comfortable with TF stuff.
My old man has their 2.5" and 3.3s on his Jeep and it rides great and flexes well. If I wasnt a picky bitch and still not sure what I want to do lift wise they would be a contender even with the wheel pros acquisition. They are awesome people every time Ive met them and they have answered every question my dad has thrown their way when calling or emailing.

Yeah, I've never had a bad experience with any of their kit. I think the only thing of theirs I had break was one of the Speed Bumps after about 8 years of hard use and it was because I missed a massive pothole on the main road at Uwharrie and nailed it at like 35. Ran their stuff for about a decade on that Jeep without issue, with their custom valved Foxes too.

They have a reputation as a name in the industry for what 30 years I'm guessing. I know that they were doing SYE and lower gears for the old TJ and YJ 231 cases in the 90s. There was a period when their quality fell. But I think that they worked hard to get it back. I have their ball joints, they were targeted correctly. Better than stock, but cheaper than Dynatrac.

Wow. First off, I’m having this installed by a professional even though I’ve been lifting vehicles my whole life but with such a nice new vehicle I’m trying to let it dialed in as much as I can. I was Just wondering if the $1800 For the adjustable control arms was worth it. But hey, thanks for being so judgmental!
Don't take it so personally. He has given you some good advice.

It is easy to spend lots of money and end up with a Jeep that cannot drive in a straight line. There are shops that take advantage of people with deep pockets.

If you're installing that base kit, and you've ever changed springs in a Jeep, why pay someone? There's nothing to that kit that's adjustable. What is a professional going to "dial in" and how would they? These builder kits just confuse people and sucker them in with what looks like a great price. Now add the arms, track bars, front drive shaft, shocks, and drag link that you'll need to run 4.5" of lift and that price has exploded. As others have said, why 4.5"? We only run 3.5" and have plenty of clearance for 39s. The JLU, especially with the high fenders doesn't need a bunch of lift to run huge tires. If you're going for 37s I'd do a 2.5" lift. If you stay at that height you can get away with just a set of the Mopar longer lowers for under $100, the axles will only be ~3/8" off center with stock track bars so you can run those, the front driveshaft will be fine, the tie rod will be fine, and you can actually have a driveable lifted jeep near the price range the teraflex kit starts at.

I see you are still reading this thread actively. Don't get all butt hurt. Take the advice. @Zandcwhite just gave some absolutely rock solid advice. Even though you didn't care for the manner he gave it even @John VonJeep gave was on point. You really do need to ask yourself why you are lifting your Jeep. Is it to go wheeling and have room for larger tires as they flex? There is a ton of info on lifts, difference between the brands, springs, shocks, and joints here. Or is it just because you want to look cool? If it's just to look cool, that's okay, you can be totally unique like all the other Karens at TJ Maxx with ducks across their dash.

To answer your question..... Adjustable arms may benefit your build.......

But, before going to 4.5 or above. One should be thinking about a custom built front axle; for best drivability. The fixed (welded) separation angle between pinion and inner C is too narrow..... needs to be increased to 12 degrees or more.

Also, when considering this much lift..... a Mid-arm minimum or long arm suspension system for best performance.

I installed the Teraflex 4.5" Long arm on my JLU.

Installing a 4.5” Terra flex lift in my 2024 rubicon 4xe. Trying to decide if the adjustable control arms are worth the investment not or if I can install later if needed. Any experience?
Which 4.5” TF lift are you getting or have ?

I have the 3.5" teraflex lift and did the control arm drop brackets and that works fantastic. 4.5", boy, I would probably do the drop brackets AND adjustable control arms.

Oh, also. You most definitely want to replace your front drive line. That is a lot of lift.

Did you do a custom axle? I'm all for the voice of reason, but I disagree that it's necessary for 4.5" of lift. With 3.5" I can run 6.5⁰ of caster and still have 0 driveline vibes even at highway speeds in 4HI. I seriously doubt 1" is going to be the breaking point. There are guys on here running 5.5" springs with stock axles. At 4.5⁰ I agree you'll need to address control arm geometry, but drop brackets and adjustable lowers will do the job. Of course custom axles and long arms would be better, but it's overkill for most.

Absolutely love my falcon 3.3’s I’m 3.5 years on my falcons with hundreds of miles off road with full camping gear and RTT with zero issues. If I run with out alot of gear my Jeep handles extremely well at higher speeds in the desert

When I ask for help on a forum I expect to get the answers I want to hear even if the reader has to read my mind. All you guys trying to give actual real world advice to the contrary are just a bunch of judgmental assholes.
