I don't tell people what to do with their jeeps but on occasion, I suggest doing extensive research to be certain you are making the correct decision, pros vs cons. 4.5" on a JL is a lot of lift and it may even be more.

No punt intended.

Wow. First off, I’m having this installed by a professional even though I’ve been lifting vehicles my whole life but with such a nice new vehicle I’m trying to let it dialed in as much as I can. I was Just wondering if the $1800 For the adjustable control arms was worth it. But hey, thanks for being so judgmental!
The professional that is installing it or you with lifting vehicles your whole life should know what 4.5" does to the caster with stock control arms to the point that the original question should never have been asked.

Please note. Anything over 3.5” lift you will need front and rear drive shafts. Anything up to 2.5” you will be ok but would still recommend changing both drive shafts. Also at 4.5” of lift I would assume that you are running tires in the range of 37-40” with that you will need to re-gear axles so handle the extra stress on the drive train. Also with that height of lift you will want all the control arms to be adjustable as caster angle etc is going to be way out. Also needed is longer brake lines. Extended e-brake lines and or drop bracket. For the e-brake lines. And if you’re going that deep I would also truss the axles. But that’s just my .02 cents.

what is it that you plan to do with the Jeep? Just driving around town and fire roads? Or are you looking to wheel easy to moderate trails? Or are you going for the big boy rock gardens that require 40”+ red labels?

Considering That Teraflex has fairly recently sold off, and now that parent company has filed for bankruptcy, I'm not surprised to see stuff like this. Maybe they will be the new Rough Country?

Asks a pretty basic question about far too big of a lift, gets answers, refuses to disclose their use of their Jeep, gets butthurt that someone said maybe they were in over their head.

Teraflex has always been the Target to RC's Walmart.

This man speaks truth. Keep it under 10 mph and you’ll be fine with this kit. Do not listen to the haters with all their talk about “caster” and “pinion angles” and “fiery death.”

Bare minimum, a pair of front and rear arms or brackets.

What shocks? May need rear e-brake extensions, driveshaft, etc.

Seriously, what’s the consensus on Falcon shocks? They seem to be pretty well respected, yet I’ve never been 1000% comfortable with TF stuff.
They're a good enough shock from what I hear. On the firm side, but they're digressively valved so kind of to be expected IMO.

Teraflex is fine overall IMO. Even with Hoonigan nee Wheel Pros going under, I don't expect their quality to slip (it's Chapter 11, business as usual till someone buys up the debt and takes control). The Target analogy is legit IMO, nicer end of middle of the road.
