Just confirming that your spreadsheet is still correct for Tri-City in Eden, NC. I'm placing an order with them today.

@Ratbert is the expert, but I've been told some dealer get volume discounts. They typically have lower overhead, at least per sale.Just a note on this. In the process I spoke with Leith Jeep in Raleigh about ordering. I even shared the sheet form this forum and they took it up to their GM. The response was that they would be losing almost 2k to do that deal. It's interesting that some dealers seem to be able to make money doing this while others can't. Does the forum have any insight on why that is? It's got me curious.
It's weird their Taylor location won't budge much on price. I told them another Austin dealership offered the same Jeep for almost $6k cheaper and he started making all kinda of excuses on how what I see is what I'll be charged, they'll have other fees blah blah blah. For Central Texas guys I was able to get right around 4% below invoice from Nyle Maxwell in Austin. I figured not having to drive/fly to Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee was worth the extra 1 or 2 percent.
Need tread lightly and to finance through them, I didn't see the financing as a big deal as I am hoping next year rates go down and refinance anyways.
Sean Knox is who I worked through and sent me build. [email protected]

In 2021, Dennis Dillion (DD) in Idaho was the cheapest west of the mississippi. I asked them a few months ago and now they are above MSRP. Peterson in ID is now the cheapest. I think DD realized they could make more money selling over MSRP at lower volumes.

They were on the list as a dealer that went as low as 7% below invoice (with Tread Lightly) on ALL models but suddenly stopped a few weeks ago. I'm glad to see they're back with something similar.I've been getting pricing from a number of dealers on this list! However I found one that isn't mentioned! Marion CDJR in Marion, NC.

They have a big banner on their home page advertising 10% off MSRP + free shipping up to 500 miles! https://www.marioncdjr.com/marion-custom-vehicle-order.html
Anybody purchase recently from Jim Butler in Linn, MO? I am in Kansas City and looking to place an order. Just came across this info (thanks very much Ratbert!) and wondering if anyone has had luck with this dealer/know who to ask for there—-thanks in advance. Looking forward to buying our first Wrangler!
I contacted them via their vehicle order form and when they called me, they were firm on their 10% below MSRP price which I think for a highly optioned build is close to 5% under invoice. Also found their Doc Fee is $699 if anyone is interested. Not a bad option if its local to you.I've been getting pricing from a number of dealers on this list! They gave me a lower price on my build than Gupton or Miracle. I ended up placing an order with Miracle yesterday though since they were closer to me in Ohio, the difference was only $300, but also Marion didn't have any allocations and said they couldn't enter an order currently, and didn't know when they were going to be able to :-/ But either way, another one to add to the list!
Yes, thanks, I should have mentioned that. They told me also doc fee was $699, but then they also said another $300 for "Government Fees", which I wonder if it's the same as Gupton's 0.3% for "Business Tax".I contacted them via their vehicle order form and when they called me, they were firm on their 10% below MSRP price which I think for a highly optioned build is close to 5% under invoice.
