See attached. I didn't push and ask what specifically that meant. I probably would have if I chose to move forward with them.

I would want to know what the Government fees are. They already charged you tax, what other government fees would there be. If they will not explain what it is, they are being dishonest. But I guess since you are saving money, you could let it slide. I would at least want an answer...

Im glad to hear that you have a positive experience. However , it is not my case. I have email Renee and get a quote from her. I sent her another email to add the dual top group and she has not reply back at all. I have sent about 6 email requesting the change and letting her know that I am ready to buy , I even ask for another contact so I can finalize the deal but she is nowhere to be found. I’ll go to with Koons at VA.
Miracle CJD in Gallatin Tennessee they are also in the Nashville area and they do not require that you use their financing to get the 6% off invoice. Chad Rivas, it is in Ratbert's spreadsheet...

This is a consolidation of the details spread throughout the Dealers % Below Invoice Thread. Please post updates either here or on that thread, mention @Ratbert, and I'll update the spreadsheet as soon as possible.

Affiliate Discounts:
  • Up to an additional 1% below invoice.
  • It's highly recommended to sign up for Tread Lightly.
    • 1% below invoice from most dealerships (ask them) even if they don't typically do below invoice pricing.
    • Must sign up ($100) 30 days before you take the Wrangler off of the lot.
    • Usually only applicable to custom orders.
  • Discussed here.
The recommended approach when looking for a dealership is to simply call them and tell them that you found out about their below-invoice pricing through JL Wrangler Forums.

Ratbert,
Thanks for Sharing this valuable information. I found a really good deal with Aaron from Marion Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram in NC.
10% under MSRP , no need to finance with them, no registration of any kind. Free delivery for up to 500 miles.
the best deal so far.
I just purchased from them, they are easy to contact and fast to respond . I will update the buying process.

For anyone considering Tri-City in Eden, NC, I have nothing but great things to say about them. Working with Travis and their staff was a pleasurable experience and I would easily order thru them again. The 5 1/2 hour drive from PA was nice as well. Very beautiful scenery and mountains.

Dan Cummins is the only dealership that I'm aware of that's offering these discounts and is also AEV certified.

Do not go through Lindsey. She was fine up to the point that I picked it up, but has screwed up several things since then. E.g. no tags on it when I picked it up in Michigan, forgot to charge our credit union for the Jeep (?!?!?!?), screwed up the registration with the CO DMV, screwed up the registration with the CO DMV again. I had to get an extension from the CO DMV, so I still don't have final plates after picking it up in early July. As far as I can tell she still hasn't cleared up the DMV crap.

Did I mention to not go through Lindsey?

Martin @ Dan Cummins, however, seems to have his shit together. He's their AEV point person so you'll end up working with him anyways.
HAHA I had the same experience with Dan Cummins, great until after I picked up the truck. I think it took 2-3 months for them to get all the paperwork correctly filled out and sent to Texas for me.

I started detailing the latest screw up, but let's just just that it's still a cluster f*ck. Fortunately the CO DMV gave me a new temp plate with enough time to cover my trip to the Rubicon Trail next week.

Is this Marion CDJR in Marion NC or Randy Marion CDJR in Wilkesboro NC?

Over on the 392 Forum they have another dealer doing 3% below Invoice...

3% under invoice with $550 dealer fee: Bolton CDJR for those in TX looking for a closer option. Looks like a direct contact is needed: [email protected]

I was curious how long it's taking others to get responses to build request emails and receive a POC. I've reached out to Gupton, Miracle, and one other listed on the spreadsheet, but haven't been able to get a response for over a week. I know they're likely very busy, but are others seeing the same thing?

This is my first custom order, so I'm trying to set a realistic timeline for how long it will take to submit an order, and when it's acceptable to send a follow-up email. Thanks!

Chad at Miracle was on vacation for a week. Maybe try him again...

I received a response from Daniel at Gupton within 24hrs. Sent him a build summary sheet and he had me a quote pretty quickly.

Doc fee is a straight up profit that goes to ownership. A $300 government fee to me would look like an estimated Plate Fee (given that its a straight $300), which seems pretty low but it differes by state. A new Wrangler where I live would be about $800/year for the first year plate.
In Ohio, once you pay your sales tax, plates are only $52.50 (in Montgomery County) for all passenger vehicles...

Has anyone purchased a vehicle from Farrish of Fairfax Jeep, wondering if finance is required…
