Was driving up a steep canyon road and overheated. I sat there a while and then went to start it and heard a loud pop. Then a radiator hose blew or something as steam started coming out. It wasn't long after it caught fire under the hood and it took the fire department 20 minutes to get there and by then it was gone. Including the 39" tire I had dropped around $10,000 into it in the past couple of months. I'm sure going to miss her....

That is a terrible experience. However, material things can be replaced. That is why we have insurance.

If you had a fire extinguisher, would there have been enough time to react? Sometimes things like these happen so quickly.

I'm super bummed for you. I'm stoked you are fine and you have insurance.

I'm also loving that picture. You're Jeep looked bad ass right up to the very end. I hope we see you in a new one soon.

Way too many fires in these things. Sorry for your loss. Hope you get decent restitution.
