  1. My Jeep hates gas pumps

I have essentially the same issue. I have given up and usually just set the auto fill handle lock thing to the lowest setting. I wonder where the vent is and if I could check it? I have even come out once to gas spilling out of the gas hole and onto the concrete. Who knows
  2. This lasted a day.

I like half doors cuz you get a much more open feeling and my wife will let me have the kids (3 & 6) with half doors but not with no doors. In fact, when I do want to go doorlesss, I still have to leave the back to halfies on. But, top less and doorless is the superior configuration. Just feels...
  3. Help me settle a debate

I'll throw in my 2 cents. I find that all of the "hinge/trim/feature" coverings that are used as accent colors to be a bit lacking. In general I don't think they add enough of the accent color and end up looking a bit cheap. I also think that you will find a lot less of that stuff on the Jeeps...
  4. My new wrangler has 2 VIN Number, Differently

I think this means you got 2 Jeeps for the price of 1. Congrats you lucky dog!

  8. Six speed manual versus eight speed, automatic, disadvantages and advantages

Yessir Honestly, I think I was reading the other thread on the front page about MPG and it bled into this post. Whoops
  9. Six speed manual versus eight speed, automatic, disadvantages and advantages

My Rubicon has the factory 4.88's and is entirely stock. I get about 14mpg. Before, when I cared and I was driving a bit further I could get about 16. Now, I go with smiles per gallon. I love it.
  10. Top Amber Lights

When I had an F-250 a few moons ago, she called them Bulbasaur heads which always hurt my feelings.
  11. I don't understand why people complain about mileage!

I think I sit at about 16 in my MT with the 4.88s on stock tires. I just turned the dash to a different screen and neeevvvver looked at it again.
  12. The Sexiest Jeep Alive (2024 Edition)

Feast your eyes on the best Jeep can do from the factory.....You're welcome ;)
  13. 2" receiver recovery hitch VS 2" receiver extension

I believe the reason is that the pin in #1 is experiencing a shear force caused by the receiver and the recovery hitch trying to separate. In the second one, the pin that secures the contraption to your Jeep is experiencing that same shear force, but the second in the extension would be...
  14. Base Jeeps are at their cheapest point ever?

Dang. I was hoping they might come with tassles or bedazzling or something, you know?
  15. Base Jeeps are at their cheapest point ever?

As a manual owner, the ESS has probably been an inconvenience 2-3 times ever. AS soon as you touch the clutch pedal, it restarts the engine, then by the time you shift into gear and are trying to modulate the accelerator, you never noticed the startup. I understand the frustration for automatic...
  16. 2024 Jeep Wrangler Named Best SUV of 2024 by Cars.com

If I were running a business. I would do two things that only a few companies out there do: 1. Have world class customer service (soup to nuts). Not the customer is always right BS that is touted as good customer service, but real service that customers can utilize to find out information...
  17. Built-in Navigation is Pretty Damn Bad

I think they should go one step further. Get rid of the onboard NAV and then try to make their system integrate with Android Auto and Carplay to the fullest extent possible. I will say I check the weather on the UCONNECT App occasionally. It can be handy.
  18. How long did they make the 3.6 eTorque?

MOAR stands for Mother Of All Reliable?
  19. SPARE TIRE INSIDE
