I think civil lawsuits can use a 'reasonable man' test.Unless they (plaintiff's) can prove regulatory non-compliance or a design/ manufacturing defect that Jeep ignored, this is going no where.
A gnat chipped the new windshield? Now that is one I've not heard before... LOL
My thought exactly!!Exactly what do people expect from a windshield that is practically straight?
Anecdotal, but I've read a few good comments here about the HGP windshields. They also use Gorilla Glass, but are not the same windshields as the Mopar GG..On a related note - is there a windshield at any price that doesn’t just completely suck?
I’m getting my 4th in 2 yrs installed this AM - trying whatever the Safelite special is this time. 1 OEM and 2x Gorilla each lasted only a few months each.
I'm actually surprised there isn't a warning label on the a-pillar to wear a helmet and/or eye protection when driving with the windshield down.FCA should counter with “If you’d fold your windshield down, that little gnat bastard wouldn’t be able to break it”.
And class action suits are stupid. Lawyers are gonna get $20,000,000 and Jeep owners will get about 17 cents.
"OUT OF STOCK"Anecdotal, but I've read a few good comments here about the HGP windshields. They also use Gorilla Glass, but are not the same windshields as the Mopar GG..
