Seems fishy posting only this in two other threads and then creates this one.Not that I'm in favor of banning most people, but I believe anyone who creates an account and then creates a thread within X days (or their first post is) about a lawsuit should be banned with their posts deleted. They add nothing to the discussion or community. But I am not a mod.
Edit: Just to be clear, if someone that is actually a part of the forum wants to bring up a thread about a class action or personal lawsuit, I have no problems with that.
No.... not just attorney's. I got into one on the ground floor with Apple Computers with 50 other people. Payout to me was right at $300,000 while those that just joined in got $50.Yep, class actions seem like real money makers...for attorneys.
I read the lawsuit. This is a sad state of affairs for Stellantis. Jeep vehicles have been utilizing manual shift and clutch since the first one was built, yet the foreign owners can't seem to make a clutch/engine combination work without the potential to burn the vehicle to a crisp. Three recalls and no solution, however, aftermarket suppliers seem to have remidied the issue.
It is inexcusable that Jeep has known about this issue for 6 + years and allowed the problem to exist for 6 years (give or take). Two previous recalls did not resolve the issue, and who knows if this last recall will do anything. The NTSB really needs to slam Stellantis over this, but it will not happen. ..I read the lawsuit. At this point, Jeep should offer buybacks and refund every dollar. That is a lemon and auto manufacturers should be help accountable. It's insane that Jeep hasn't given one single (fbomb) about this issue and they continue to profit. It is inexcusable that Jeep has known about this issue for 6 + years and allowed the problem to exist for 6 years (give or take). Perhaps when people begin to file lawsuits for financial, and potentially, a loss of life, they will awaken. Every time this occurs they place not only the owner's lives at risk, but also the first responders. It is inexcusable that Jeep has known about this issue for 6 + years and allowed the problem to exist for 6 years (give or take). How do you know they aren't and there just aren't many suits?Perhaps when people begin to file lawsuits for financial, and potentially, a loss of life, they will awaken.
