I am shopping for a new Stabilizer, and am curious to know what aftermarket Steering Stabilizer everyone is running. Why did they purchase it? Also, are they satisfied with it, and would they buy it again??

Running the Fox ATS stabilizer currently, was running the Exact Center and will be going back to it…… I’ve had my Fox for 4 years no complaints, or problems with it at all…. I would definitely purchase it again…

.I like the Exact Center a little better for its ability to hold center on the steering wheel… less small corrections inherent with SFA steering……I got the new RK aluminum steering ( drag link/ tie rod) and it wasn’t designed to run the stabilizer relocated when it came out… I made my own axle side bracket out of a MC bracket and had to put the Fox back on for testing clearances, then been to lazy to switch back, lol….

If you’re going get a through shaft stabilizer and going to be relocating it, then order the one for JK instead of JL, it will come with the track bar bolt and tie rod clamp and it’s plug and play…….

I run the Fox ATS as well, it's been good. Can't say it's a game changing feel over stock, but it's a step up. My wife bought me the exact center for Christmas, so that'll be going on in the near future. Even with the Fox ATS, the constant subtle steering wheel adjustments while highway driving are still there. I don't expect the Jeep to drive like a sports car, but based on my research (and the comment above) the exact center will reduce the constant back and forth with the steering wheel. If you do a lot of off-roading I'm not sure how the exact center does in those conditions. Might be fine, but something to look into if that's the case for you.

I had a Metal Cloak stabilizer but just went back to stock. A heavier adjustable track bar will serve you better if you are having issues.

1.5" lift on JT - stock stabilizer, longer LCAs.
No constant small corrections. Shouldn't be necessary unless on rough roads.
Caster helps tires go straight and return to center after a turn. Correct scrub radius also helps keep the tires going where you want them to go and not wander about requiring constant corrections.
Solid front axles should actually handle like most other IFS vehicles with recirculating ball steering sectors. The difference is on rough roads, but highway use, they handle like cars. Think about it - the ZJ and WJ were solid front axles and appealed to business people, women, etc. because they handled, steered just fine.

Like someone else stated the mopar lower control arms helped me more than the steering stabilizer to be honest but if doing one I would do both.

I currently have a MC Rocksport on my JLUR with full 3.5" MC GC lift and 37s. It's just not enough damping for my rig, IMO. The latest OEM damper has more damping and worked better when I was using it with a Steersmarts tierod.

Yah I’m using the MC stabilizer relocation kit with the factory stabilizer. I blew out the RockSport stabilizer. I found the heavier trackbar made everything far more stable.

Fox ATS, with Metalcloak relocation bracket.

The reason? Because my stock steering stabilizer, in the stock location, got totally smashed and bent on the Rubicon Trail last summer, so I needed a new steering stabilizer and relocation kit anyways, and since virtually everything else under my Jeep is already Metalcloak, figured I might as well make the relocation kit MC as well. Installed their steering kit at the same time.

Went with the Fox ATS instead of the Rocksport stabilizer (MC sells kits with either option) because I know the Fox one is great, so I figured I'd buy what I know works.

Happy with all of it so far. Installation was a breeze, the whole steering kit took me maybe 2-3 hours. The relocation kit by itself is literally just 4 bolts, requires 1 new hole to be drilled, took maybe 30-60 minutes total.

I have run the Fox ATS in relocation mode on both my JLs. It definitely helps with the heavy 37s to firm up the steering. When building up my first JL it was recommended by @Roky on here to assist with heavy tires, especially since I was still running stock steering components. I have mine set a little on firm side (15 clicks) and it feels great. I did transfer over to new JL and still works great.

I just picked up a fox ats to replace my falcon 2.2 that decided it didn't feel like holding oil anymore after less than 2 years.
