I’m very happy with my Metalcloak coils and Rocksport red shocks. Rides better than stock.

Falcon 2.1 SP2 in 'soft' setting. Better damping than the OE Rubicon shocks I had (which were weeping at ~35K miles).

wonderful set of custom valved 4x4Proyect - likely overkill for me, but these kits are totally daily-able and are ready for competitive desert racing. Done offroad driving and recovery courses at NORA in NH, and the shocks felt great, too.

PS: I’m childhood friends with one of the owners, and I got a nice discount (probably paid about the cost of Kings, IIRC?). I don’t make any money or more discounts or anything like that from posting here.

Currently on 4dr Rubi take off springs and shocks. Miles better than the stock 2dr sport shocks and springs. Test drove a new 392 on Thursday and that suspension reminded me of my wife’s Escalade! If I didn’t have a 2dr I’d probably opt for 392 springs and shocks. But then I’d be like a bouncy ball!

Falcon 3.1"s are what I'm currently running. I have them setup in the soft setting and they are a little firmer than stock but Overall road manners are better.

Falcon SP1 2.1 for me. More bumps on road but better feel off road and less bottoming out.

Metalcloak Rocksport Reds on a MC GC 2.5" lift. Not in love with them. I don't think they ride as good as stock Rubicon shocks ON ROAD (can feel every road seam), but are MUCH better than stock OFF ROAD. Considering either a set of MC Black adjustable, or a set of either Fox 2.5s or King 2.5s from Accutune. Plan on having this thing forever so...

Running Fox 2.5 elites and I love them.
Low-speed compression on pavement and high-speed compression offroad.
I use JL for prerunning, so not much rock crawling for me.
I run King 4518's on the race rig... pricey but does a fantastic job eating up the bumps.

I'm running Kings from Accutune on my 392. I've used each of the shocks in your list except for the AEV shocks, and King shocks are the plushest while also being very well controlled. Small bumps you don't even feel, and with progressive valving they also eat up the big bumps with no problem.

I'm using Metalcloak Black shocks on my 2-door Rubicon. They are very nice shocks, but with digressive valving you feel every bump on pavement. Offroad, if I start thinking they feel too stiff, just speed up a little.
