I purchased my X9 from a fellow Jeep owner. I must've acclimated to it rather quickly, because when driving the Jeep with it disconnected (on my way to the dealer for a potential warranty issue), the 2.0T's stock throttle programming was laggier than I recall it being prior to installing the X9.

Well, you might be able to do it with your foot, but not for free and not smog legal. I believe Holley makes replacement TB/ cable linkage systems for some applications. Or get the Banks and you can duplicate the manual linkage performance. Or + - as preferred with the I-dash in a factory looking pod on either the top or bottom of the grab handle. .. I just took my Jeep in to a somewhat fussy dealer. He said that PedalMonsters and iDashs were no problem, but Derringers were another matter. [I didn't have one] I know that forum members cite the Magnuson-Moss act all the time, but from a practical matter, I'm not sure what can be done if they blacklist your Jeep. How difficult is it to overturn their denial? To a judge, they're the experts. Unless they claim something absurd, like the Derringer caused your windshield wipers to fail, I suspect they would prevail, short of a boatload of lawyer's fees.
I had my Jeep temporary blacklisted by a very sketchy and incompetent dealership. I called them out on it, ran it up the corporate chain just to find out they retaliated by blacklisting my Jeep. Nothing Derringer or mod related. Later found a very competent and well-run dealership specializing in Wranglers accustomed to modifications of all kinds. That service manager was able to clear the blacklisting fairly easily. Did you uninstall your Derringer? I recall at one time you did have one? I have the Derringer and haven't experienced a need to disconnect it so far, knock on wood. If you have could you please share? Recalling a post some time back on a tip to easily, and temporarily disconnect the Derringer for dealer visits. I recall you found some type of pigtail that came in the original kit. Anyway if that part was accurate could you please share it again. I have the idash pedal monster and Derringer setup. It would certainly help to ease and simplify the removal when visiting the dealer. Thanks
Hikeit does. Auto IQ mode based on your current driving style. I have had Hikeit for a few years now and would highly recommend.
If you just set it and forget it, bluetooth is not really beneficial. Bluetooth would be good to have if you keep the device hidden, like behind the felt liner under the dash, and if you need to adjust the settings, you can do it with your phone.

Agreed. In the throttle enhancer market, Banks is the CLEAR leader - others are not even close. Is this an economic decision that drives buyers to inferior brands? Between the reliable OBD power source and the revert-to-stock when reversing feature, it's a no-brainer (I thought). I'm the OP for this thread and it started out supporting PedalCommander - before I did more research.
