The wire bundle you wrapped… is it running behind the actual heat shield or it top of it and next to the exhaust?

under and around. if you crawl under and look for the (might be catalytic converter) heat shield and go around it. You'll see it and feel it, its a B to get to but its doable. Its sitting on non-shielded exhaust piping.

Ya I’ve seen it. I checked mine before driving home. The wire bundle should be protected from the hot exhaust by the heat shield.

If it’s not the dealer needs to repair any wires with melted insulation and route the entire thing so it’s behind the heat shield.
