Nothing against the Rubicon or Sahara or 4 doors, but the 2 Dr sports don't get a lot of love on the forums and not everything applies to them. The aftermarket has been slow to release 2Dr specific parts and not everything is interchangeable from a 2Dr to 4Dr or the other models. So I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to 2Dr sports whether it be a new mod you did or accessory you bought or whatever. I'm just starting out with mine and am already finding a lot conflicting information about what works and what doesn't and thought others might also.

I haven't done much so far, it's only three weeks old but I'm working on the list of required equipment by my local clubs so I can do some trail riding. I did get black Weathertech floor liners for the front and they fit perfect (part #4413131).

I installed the trailer hitch leftover from my JK and it fit perfect. HOWEVER, the wire harness is completely different and you need an auxiliary harness with switching module that requires a 12v lead run up to the fuse box in the engine compartment. Something like this:

So post a picture of what you got or what you've done and hopefully this thread will stay alive for a while and be a resource for future 2Dr sport owners.

on my sport the rear is about 3/8" lower but with hardtop off it pretty much sits exactly level. I went with the teraflex 1/2" spacer to just get back the fender clearance I lost when I went to the rubicon takeoff bfg's, and for $50 the price was nice. I thought long and hard about going with the 1"-1 1/2" but it was $150 and for not much more i figured I could grab some rubi takeoff springs and shocks down the road. Overall the small spacer and tires gave me about 1 1/4" total lift

Also I installed that exact wiring harness (Curt) from etrailer and it was fairly easy and I havent had any issues with it so far. Running the t-connector from the driver side over to the passenger side the instructions tell you to remove the inner panels and go underneath the carpet but i found it easier to drop straight down from the drivers side and go across the top of the heat shield above the muffler and there is a small hole behind the passenger wheel well liner just big enough to push the harness up behind the tail light ..then the power wire follows this same path and up along the passenger side frame rail to the battery

Love seeing this thread. I haven't done anything to mine yet except drive it all of the time and have fun! How many of you out there are driving the M/T 6 speed?

Looks perfect! I'm looking to do something similar.
