The first mod I do on my Jeeps is swap out the stocks for the Duratracs. Was bummed that on a 17" wheel they didn't have the 12.5" wide option. Had to go to 35" for that. I love the Duratracs though. My go to. Best all round tire and quite.

Looks great! Funny, I like the upgraded sport wheels, they would look good with my granite JL but I don't see those for sale much.

Any other pictures from a different view? Like to see more of the Duratracs. Thanks

I haven't done much so far, it's only three weeks old but I'm working on the list of required equipment by my local clubs so I can do some trail riding. I did get black Weathertech floor liners for the front and they fit perfect (part #4413131).

So post a picture of what you got or what you've done and hopefully this thread will stay alive for a while and be a resource for future 2Dr sport owners.

I put the LT275/65R20s that I had leftover from my previous Ram 1500 on the JL with some 1.25" wheel adapters. They are pretty low on tread, but as heavy duty as they are, I suspect that I could go a couple of thousand miles even after they became *slicks*. :)

They rubbed, so I removed the "euro guards" from the front bumper.

Nothing against the Rubicon or Sahara or 4 doors, but the 2 Dr sports don't get a lot of love on the forums and not everything applies to them. The aftermarket has been slow to release 2Dr specific parts and not everything is interchangeable from a 2Dr to 4Dr or the other models. So I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to 2Dr sports whether it be a new mod you did or accessory you bought or whatever. I'm just starting out with mine and am already finding a lot conflicting information about what works and what doesn't and thought others might also. I haven't done much so far, it's only three weeks old but I'm working on the list of required equipment by my local clubs so I can do some trail riding. I did get black Weathertech floor liners for the front and they fit perfect (part #4413131). I installed the trailer hitch leftover from my JK and it fit perfect. HOWEVER, the wire harness is completely different and you need an auxiliary harness with switching module that requires a 12v lead run up to the fuse box in the engine compartment. Something like this:

Welcome to the forum.

I sold my 4DR JL Rubicon and got a 2DR Rubicon. I love it.

Some good news for 2DR riders is there are plenty of bumper and wheel/ tire options (I stuck with 33" tires until I lift it but put NITTO Mud Grapplers on just to make a point). Also shades like Spyderwebshade.com.

I just ordered my 2DR-specific Mopar 2" lift (its a different part number than 4DR with some specific differences) and I'll have it tomorrow. I know this is very unusual, but I also got the first Firecracker Red Automatic 2DR Rubicon in my market. We will be mounting the list this weekend and I'll make a full report.

More later.

Hi I'm looking for 2 door accessories, nerf bars, side steps, bush or grill guards anything and I'm having a heck of a time. Any suggestions? The JK accessories are pretty reasonable and theirs a ton of them out there. I'm not even looking for high end. If you know of any? Thanks

Anyone in the Philadelphia area may want to check out these brand new 2 door Mopar side steps listed for sale on CL.

I have the same steps installed on mine, and it’s a nice improvement. I paid quite a bit more for them too. I doubt it took me 10 minutes to install them.
