I spayed a little self-etching primer, then two coats of semi-gloss rattle can (Rustoleum probably?) I masked very carefully, so I was only painting the newly exposed metal. It's nearly impossible to tell mine was cut.
I'm running a 9" wide 17" wheel, -12mm ofset, so similar BS to you. Yes, you can see a bit of wheel, but I honestly don't even notice it anymore. You likely would not see the wheel on a stock offset wheel. There is fore/aft adjustment on the wheel carrier (not the camera tube), but I would have...
To clarify, I wave at all Wranglers as well as any other vehicle that looks like it gets wheeled. As far as the wave being a part of a "community", I feel as if I have more in common with anyone who wheels their rig (regardless of make/model) than a Wrangler owner who doesn't.
I wave at all "built" 4WD vehicles...except obvious mall-crawlers...and I don't initiate a wave at Angry Eyes Jeeps, but I will wave back.
I just realized I may have too many rules.
Will definitely light it. That’s as far as I can get the plate out and own without hitting the recovery point on the bumper or the body when opening the gate.
I ripped off (and broke beyond repair) my passenger, rear, textured black Rubicon fender flare. I can't figure out which part # to order. I can't distinguish the part numbers between the black and the paintable? Anybody know?
Hi Benny,
I ripped off (and broke beyond repair) my passenger, rear, textured black Rubicon fender flare. I can't figure out which part # to order. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
