This was touched upon by Travis (@Inkhero) at the beginning of this thread, but it bears repeating for those new to mounting larger tires on the Teraflex Alpha carrier. When I upgraded my JL from 35s to 37s my rear sensors didn't go completely bananas, but they did throw off false and oddly pointed alerts - to the point that I no longer trusted the system. For me it was a two step solution:
  • Mounting the stem/TPMS at the 12:00 noon position to get them as far away from the interference zone as possible. The first time I heard this it sounded like voodoo, but it's effective. When I get my tires rotated, and forget to tell the guys at Discount Tire, the false alerts are back before I finish leaving DT's parking lot.
  • Moving the tire inward an additional inch than the stock bumpstops allow. I bought these aftermarket bumpstops, cut all of the segments off and ran them with just the initial (longer) section intact. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FLPCFMCQ?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2
Problem solved.

Holy thread resurrection!
The carrier itself slides in and out to accommodate different offset wheels. What you're describing sounds like your offsets are putting too much wheel within camera view. There is not fix for that that I am aware of.
Yep that's the issue I'm having. I did email Teraflex support and they confirmed they don't make any other size tubes. The agent mentioned that he knew a few people had added a machined spacer and longer bolts but that they didn't offer that themselves. So my current plan is to try recreate that -- was thinking of buying some washers so I can experiment a bit.

I use the Quadratec bump stops which seem pretty similar to those. I was hoping to tuck my tire in really far, but I'm currently using the Mopar tailgate reinforcement. They have bolts sticking out that are pretty long which could actually touch my tire if I go too far in...maybe one day I'll cut them down a bit.

what size tire are you using?
are you using aftermarket wheels? if yes, what's the width and offset?

@TeraFlex doesn't sell a longer camera housing do they? Assuming not, anyone here figure out a way to extend the camera tube out more? I recently installed this, and while it's better than the Rubicon tire carrier, I'd say the wheel still takes up more space in my view than I'd like.

Yep I do have aftermarket wheels. I'm using the Rocktrix RT116 17x9 ET-12 (4.5"). Tires are Wildpeaks A/T4W in 35x11.5.

I'm running essentially the same wheel/tire size, just in a 20" wheel and my tires are more like 11.75", and I have the TF adjustable carrier with the Mopar reinforcement. My tire is snugged up tight against the factory bumpers. Do you see more of your tire than the pic below?

My thought is that while moving the camera out will remove the tire from view, it's potentially reducing your actual visibility. The second pic shows my hitch and while you can't see it in the rear view image, when the tip of my trailer goes just barely out of view under the tire it's lined up perfectly to drop onto the ball. Looking at where the ball is in relation the tire, if the camera moves out further I'm actually creating a larger blind area.

I could probably get my tire moved in about 3/4"-1" more by trimming the bumpers and adjusting the carrier a bit further. Doing so might actually allow me to see my hitch, so I may give that a go in the next day or two as I've been using my trailer a lot lately. I'm not sure what bolts you're referring to sticking out of the Mopar reinforcement, I don't see anything that would touch the tire before the tire touches the brace on the passenger side.

I had a few minutes and decided to go ahead and knock this out today. I was able to adjust the carrier in about another 1/2" which was the limit of it's travel, I still have about a 1/2" that the tire could move in before touching anything solid but there's nothing that can be done about that. I trimmed about 1/4-3/8" off the factory bumpers to keep the tire snug against them.

After the adjustment I took a photo with the tire off to see how visible the hitch was and then put the tire back on. The hitch is still just out of view and I honestly can't say I can even tell that the tire moved in at all. The Jeep was not moved between any of the pictures as I just called up the rear camera manually instead of putting it in Reverse. You can look at the marks on my garage floor (stupid previous owner messes that I still need to clean up) for comparison. Oh well, it's done now and I don't have to wonder anymore if it could be better... 🤷‍♂️ I suppose moving the camera out could potentially eliminate a little more of the tire without technically losing any of the rear view but at the same time you're not going to gain anything unless you also angle it down more.
