Tazer JL start stop anyone else have issues

I purchased the one from Mobil Computer Solutions, it’s the one that @Rhinebeck01 recommended, my Taser should be here early next week and looking forward to putting it in.

Has anyone used this with an OBD2 splitter?? I periodically attach a bluetooth OBD2 dongle to get engine info. I keep this info for future reference years down the road.

I would not have anything extra connected to the OBD2 port, especially while marrying the Tazer to you Jeep or making any type of changes. There’s just too much at risk if something goes wrong. I just think your asking for trouble using a splitter!

When I was doing tech support for a diesel tuning company we had a guy use a splitter, and he had multiple problems. Who knows, maybe you’ll be lucky and find someone that has already done it without any issues.

Firmware 11.0.6 should be uploaded later today. eSS kill is now rock solid and comes on faster too.
Auto park disable, auto turn signals, heck you can even turn off the panic button on your remote so no more accidental triggers.

What happened to 11.0.5 or did he just skip over it?

Not uncommon to change a firmware update # after fixes, etc., to avoid confusion. Anyway 11.0.6 it is, and the pre-release 11.0.5 that a handful of us had, is history.

11.0.6 is working aok so far on my JL. Time will tell.

Did you have to unmarry the unit before the update, then remarry?

Always, always unmarry before you do any firmware update to the TazerJL. After update, of course, you remarry.

What’s auto update rhine? I unmarry, take it to my home computer, update the Tazer and plug back in and marry it.
