I’ve seen the video, I also bought all the hype before I canceled my Bronco order.

Ford has carefully crafted an image for the Bronco through drivers like Loren. They have paid a small fortune to perpetuate the image.

It is capable, that can’t be disputed. But, I think the initial new shine is wearing off and Ford will not be able to control the carefully crafted image they have tried to create for the Bronco.

I suspect this is the trickle before the flood of reviews that start to pop up saying that the Bronco is indeed limited by its suspension and steering components.

That’s ok. There’s a market for a vehicle that rides better than a Jeep on the street and will be used for lite to moderate trails. But after seeing some of the nightmares on the B6G forum I’m not sure if ever want to be far from civilization in the Bronco without a lot of recovery gear and a chase vehicle.

I remember considering holding off on my JL buy for the Gladiator reveal. Then thinking, wait for the Bronco, then to see the Defender update… glad I just said hell with it and bought one.
Have to say it is pretty impressive that nothing out performs Wrangler on the hardest trails still, after all these have materialized. Kind of disappointed in these other vehicles but appreciate mine more.

Would be hilarious if Toyota dropped some off road beast on us, portal axles etc, but you know they never will. No balls

How is it biased nonsense when they explicitly said that they're not comfortable taking the Bronco to the more extreme trails? It doesn't give them the confidence that the Wrangler provides. Is that biased nonsense?

But I don't think it's that cut and dry. It's not just the IFS or Solid axle that makes the vehicles off road capable It's the entire design and vehicle itself. Plenty of vehicles out their with IFS and they aren't winning no King of the Hammers like the Bronco.

The transfer cases were swapped out for Advance Adapters Atlas II units with more gear reduction for the rock trails found in King of the Hammers. From there the drivetrain gets more exotic, with portal front hubs from 74Weld added to the factory independent suspension to increase ground clearance and reduce angles on the RCV axles. Out back a more traditional Dynatrac ProRock XD60 is used with an ARB Air Locker and 35-spline axle shafts from Spidertrax. Portals on the solid axle would increase ground clearance, but a compromise must be made with either limited uptravel or increased ride height and a higher center of gravity. Perhaps most important are the Fox front coilover shocks, rear smooth body shocks (bypass shocks are not allowed in 4600), and hydraulic air bumps at each corner. While the components themselves are high quality, it is the hours of suspension tuning that separate the Broncos from most of the other vehicles in the 4600 Class."

A 100% factory sponsored race build vs the rest of the field who has maybe half as much money into their vehicles. Super even competition. Portals at all corners, custom front diff, Dynatrac pro 60 rear, Atlas xsfer case. And this is definitely more of a desert race with rock sections, and nobody is denying that IFS is better in the Desert.

Yes it is. Because that's literally what their channel is built around. Taking vehicles to the limit to see how hard they can push them until something breaks and then they upgrade the part. They literally said that's what they were going to do when they first got it even. I guess Loren Healey can only push the Bronco to its limits ? Maybe its for the best they just stick with driving a Jeep.

And then they also said it would be their high speed desert runner but they would still rock crawl and their Jeep would be their dedicated rock crawler. Ok so then what happen to that? Apparently they decided its just one step above a Subaru so they don't even want to do that. Which is absurd to say. Lol. Common. They're obviously but hurt about something. We'll never know and they'll never tell.

Now all of a sudden they're affraid to take new vehicles to there limits? Yeah ok!!

I'm not saying there not modded. It's professional race of course they are. But why aren't there many modified Jeeps competing in that race and winning? Not because they suck it because the Broncos design is just better for multi terrain vs just rock crawling.

Also the Bronco can do alot even stock. Case in point with just this video alone. Only mod Nitto tires. Still 35 inches. That's it.

Disagree that men would be celebrated. Porn is porn. Do you respect male porn stars? An executive at Apple probably wouldn't be moonlighting on OnlyFans, agree? Because he wouldn't have to sacrifice his dignity and rep for a few extra bucks. So again, only low skilled people with nothing to offer society do this kind of thing, in my opinion.

Who cares what some Internet whore showing her body for money thinks? I certainly don't. Once someone crosses that line it just devalues their opinions, because it demonstrates that they will say or do anything for a price (and therefore you can't rely on anything they say as being true and correct).

I'm far from having everything figured out, but one thing I've gotten a good grasp on is not judging others by stories but by what I see myself. I met them once, during the inaugural E3 Offroad Association meet up in Massachusetts a couple years ago. They are a couple of the nicest and warm hearted people I've had the pleasure of spending time with.

I'm sure they were VERY nice to everyone: how else are they going to get subscribers to her OF?

Anyone who offroads knows that display is embarrassing. Ford isnt targeting the offroad community. Theyre targeting inexperienced newcomers.

Sure, I see a lot of battery issues on the Jeep forum.

On the B6G forum there is generally a catastrophic failure every day in the suspension and steering components.
I guess your missing most everyone’s arguments which is that the Bronco can off road, but the potential for a failure on difficult trails is higher than the Jeep. I’d imagine it affected their decision to take it on some of the lines that they take their Jeep.

As for the high speed desert racer. They said they are getting a Braptor. Why stick with the Bronco when they can buy exactly what they want. I’d imagine they will continue Bronco content with it.

Although if I were them I’d say screw the Bronco after reading some of the atrocious comments that were made about Brittany on the B6G site. All because they had the audacity to state their actual opinions and not just spew what Ford has asked them to say. The B6G community comes off as pretty vile.

The real problem is that Bronco fans are not accustomed to hearing anything negative from the media or influencers on their purchase. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Bronco community is in for a rude awakening when Ford stops buying automotive journalists and more reviews are honest about its capabilities.

I understand that you’re defensive as a Bronco owner, it’s the same as when this forum hears any disparaging comments about Jeeps. We all want to believe we spent our money on the best product. The reality is each one excels in different areas.

Push the Bronco and post your results. Take it to the Rubicon trail completely stock and don’t bypass any obstacles. It’s really the only way to shut us up.
