My daughter put a kill switch in her 4Runner. It's in a place you would never to think to look but easy enough for her to access to start it when she returns to the vehicle. We live in Albuquerque so a kill switch is vital to you to keep your vehicle from being stolen.
Your daughter sounds like a daughter to be proud of! Nothing better than when the gear head gene is passed on. ?

The ignition kill switch seems a much better and safer option then the fuel line. But I guess they could still use the remote start with a fob if they had it cloned?
There is ZERO danger placing a kill switch on the fuel pump relay.

You are simply adding a switch to the Fuel pump relay in the fuse box that turns power to the relay off.

Although on some older muscle cars people would add a valve/switch to the actual fuel line that cuts the fuel off.

If you get one of those special bags to hold your key FOB in while its in the house the signal can not be intercepted.

On the Dodge Hellcats and Scats Dodge had a TSB where you could have the RF Hub locked down so thiefs could not hook up to your gateway in the car and clone a key. The down side was if you lost both your keys you would have buy a new RF Hub and keys. $$$$$$

I am not sure they can or would do the same for the Jeep line. Dealers were very uneducated on the security TSB for the HellCats but its worth asking a dealer about it - RF Hub Lockdown.

@Steph1 Holy Crap. Do you do freelance work? I could use some help!

Curious, why did you hide the VINS and what is this JSCAN thing? I googled it but got nowhere.

Jscan is a programmer like the tazer. He’s hiding vins so thieves don’t get a copied key from a dealer.

Jscan is a well known application that is smartphone uploadable from your app store and acts as a tuner/progammer via a OBD bluetooth reader/connector. It is the best bang for the buck out there.

When the thieves cannot get your key signal from inside your house, their computer can identify your Jeep using the vin to create an electronic signal.

With this said, I forgot to add that to my list :) Faraday key signal blocker box in which I store my keys when at home.

Oh, she beats me on every level of being a gear head! She is an F1 fan, Max Verstappen is her fav driver, owns an s2000 as well as her lifted and modified 4Runner. Her husband has a Gen2 Raptor, lifted and bagged and his own s2000. I cant compete with them LOL!

Here's the video which gave me the idea couple years ago.

It's not specifically a Wrangler in the video, but it does apply to any vehicle. Really all you're doing is cutting power to the fuel pump with a flick of a switch.
Chris Fix's videos make me feel like I can do anything! ?

Nope, vehicle can't be started unless the hiden switch is on the on position. whether it be with a remote or even through satelite. Switch off = Jeep dead.

Installed it on mine most likely using the link mentionned above.

So I got :

- Enabled hood alarm with Jscan
- Hood lock
- Covered windshield VIN with a decal
- Ripped-off frame VIN decal
- Steering wheel blocker bar
- Ingition kill switch
- Apple Air pod

Whoever steal's it, almost won it.
I didn't think Wranglers had a windshield VIN.

Maybe I missed it, but everyone is wondering where was it stolen from? Do you think it was towed or did they get your key???

Try remote starting your Jeep with the kill switch activated.
