I was unable to find much on this subject when I was looking, so here is my experience fixing the easy entry on my Wrangler. You will need a replacement handle/cable from allmoparparts.com, or wherever you get your parts.
The top handle trim pops off by pushing up on the rear.
There are 2 large screws at the base, under the fabric.
You will also need to remove the back seat cover, just a couple screws and straps at the bottom, then it comes down. Rotate slightly to remove.
Once inside, you'll see the cable and it's just clipped on to the frame. You need to rotate the bottom end counter-clockwise (this was passenger side) to remove the cable from the arm. Remove the whole assembly from the top.
Install is reverse of removal, I hope this helps someone. Cheers!
