Bartact Front Seat Covers Installation

FINALLY received my front seat covers from Bartact. I went with all black as I wasn't sure how their gray would look with the Sting Gray color of my Jeep. I am extremely happy with them, however.
Not sure how great this write up will be but maybe it'll help someone else in the future, The Bartact instructions are just ok, The pictures are small and black and white and kinda blurry.
NOTE this is just for the driver side, passenger is the same, minus the lumbar support wheel of course.

1. Slid on the seat portion of the covers. There is a slit there for what I assume is for the lumbar support dial. Seat is positioned for that and the back lever. That black chord below the dial will be pulled toward the back and tied later.

2. There are (2) elastic bands under the seat. They go from the back of the seat to hooks that are under seat. This holds the rear lower "fuzzy" portion/flap of the stock seat in place. Just follow them with your hand to their respective hooks and unhook them. Top of the pic is toward the front of the cab.

3. Shove the new seat cover with Velcro between the bottom and back of seat to the rear.

4. Take the chords that are on each side and feed them into each loop that on the new seat covers (you can see one on the left of this pic) and tie into some kind of knot.

5. Remove the head rest. They will almost hit the roof but will clear as you slowly angle it toward the front.

6.Slide on the back cover. This will need to be wiggled on from each side as they are pretty tight around the bolsters.
PIC 1 - The back cover and seat cover can now be Velcro'ed together. (What you see is the rear flap flipped up)
PIC 2 - Run the elastic bands back to their hooks under the seat.
PIC 3 & 4 - The back portion of the back cover (the piece I'm holding onto) will Velcro to that "fuzzy" portion of the seat. (this is nice, makes for a clean look).

7. Once positioned, locate the 2 head rest post holes and cut an "X" at each hole. According to Bartact instructions, cutting is ok and will not fray

8. Install head rest covers to head rest via the Velcro on the covers. Install into seat at the cut hole locations.

Thats pretty much it!

Do you see all the pictures after the instructions?
I tried to remove them. When i went to edit the post i can see all the pics for each step then at the end of the post theres the img name between the gallery brackets. [gallery]image[gallery] for example. i deleted all these but still show up in the actual post. Do you, or anyone reading this, know how to not have all the images show up again?

This is a great write up, thank you. I am just putting front covers on my 2020 and received no instructions from Bartact. I have one problem - when I ran the tails from the top and bottom through the seat as you show, there is no way to velcro them together, it is a Velcro "loop" and another Velcro "loop" piece sewn on the seat covers. I'm referring to the your "PIC 1 - The back cover and seat cover can now be Velcro'ed together. (What you see is the rear flap flipped up)". Can you confirm there is a "loop" strip sewn on your bottom cover, and a "hook" strip sewn on your top cover? I tried explaining this to Bartact with no reply.

UPDATE : BARTACT HAS MADE A DESIGN CHANGE to the front covers. They now have updated instructions, as the front seat covers are no longer velcro'd together as seen in this thread
