For those of you unfamiliar with what is involved in installing wheel spacers, we put this video together to show the process.

Our Jeep JL Wheel Spacers originally were advertised as requiring no cutting of the factory wheel studs to install, but we have since found that some JL models may require cutting of their wheel studs. Because the brake rotors are sandwiched on the studs, aftermarket rotors may affect stud stick-out length as well.

As an addendum to this, we decided to go ahead and update our 1-5/8" wheel spacers to 1-3/4" spacers. This gives just enough width that the models which previously required stud trimming should be good now. The old 1-5/8" wheel spacers part number is 8810-01 and the new 1-3/4" wheel spacers part number is 8810-02.

Well let’s hope for the best! I’m having the 1 5/8 put on today, hopefully no stud cutting. I would hav got 1 3/4 had I known.
