I have the D-rated 37 KO2s and at 30PSI they ride extremely well on the road. I can't tell any difference compare to my stock 33" KO2s (C-rated) which I kept at 35PSI. In fact the day I swapped them, I paid a lot of attention and drove the same roads to the tire shop on OEM KO2s, swapped and drove the same roads back. No difference whatsoever in ride quality. In fact hitting bigger potholes and speed bumps the 37s are actually better for obvious reasons.on another note does anyone have a comparison to the D rated BFG.....I cannot find these C-rated in stock at my local tire dealers and debating going with D rated instead as they are less money and can be ordered
Just installed the AEV 2" spacer lift yesterday. Some pics to give an idea what these KO2 37s look like with a small lift.
It's one step up from the recently announced Xtreme Recon factory package (35s and 1.5" lift). Honestly would have been a good chance for Jeep to leapfrog the Bronco by offering there choice of 35s or 37s.
There’s a global supply chain shortage of everything. It’s only natural. More demand, less man power and available resources. It’ll cool off over the next 6 months.looks amazing
I'm unfortunately stuck waiting now.....all 37 tires are back-ordered or price gouged right now (tire rack has the d-rated for close to $600 a tire)......apparently there is a big tire/rubber shortage
Please post a pic once it is mounted, it will be interesting to see how much it "flatten" under load.It will still be a couple of weeks till I get these new 37" BFG KO2 C's mounted on my JLR (waiting on new suspension parts to arrive) but did want to post a picture showing an accurate size. These are BFG KO2 37x12.50R17 C, mounted on 17"x8.5" wheels, inflated to 31PSI, not mounted on my JLR and using an adjustable T-Square that locks in the 90 degree position for measurement. I believe BFG calculates the size of the tire when mounted on a 17"x10" wheel and with higher inflation-I would guess at 37PSI but not sure exactly what PSI they measure at. Mine measured at exactly 35.75" (It looks just a hair less in the picture but that is because of the thickness of the blades in the T-Square and the fact the iPhone was low and angled up)
Interested to know this as well.Considering these, great thread.
currently have the ko2 35” e-rated (36,000) miles.
what are the considerations of towing when going to a thinner tire such as this? I tow a 2,800 lb camper, about 250 tongue weight. With the e-rated, there is little squat on my JLUR.
jlang what lift do you have? And what’s your wheel offset? Think these would be ok to run on a Rubicon with aftermarket wheels (4.5 backspacing, -12 offset) WITHOUT a lift? Just temporarily until I figure out what lift to go with…FInally have them mounted on a lifted Jeep. I am running them at 32 PSI and to be honest, they drive just like the stockers. As you can see, I barely got 35 1/4 mounted on 17x9 wheels. I used a level on top to make sure I was measuring square off the tallest point of the tire. I mounted the spare on a quadratec spare relocation kit which moved the spare a few inches up. It was cheap so I figured I would give it a try. I do need longer rubber stops though. Hit me up if you have any questions.
Metalcloak True Dual 2.5 lift. Fuel Vector wheel offset is -12 with 4.53 BS. These absolutely will fit on a Rubicon without a lift with minor rubbing if any as a temp solution. Check out this video of a dude running a slightly larger Nitto with no lift:jlang what lift do you have? And what’s your wheel offset? These definitely look smaller than other 37‘s but I still think they’re going to be the right fit for my 392. Thanks for posting pictures.FInally have them mounted on a lifted Jeep. Thanks for the video! He has 37” Trail Grapplers, so these KO2s will definitely be ok without a lift for a while. My Vision wheels have the same specs as your Vectors, so your setup shows me exactly how much “poke” I’ll have. Thanks so much!Metalcloak True Dual 2.5 lift.
