Is this the LOD one you’re talking about? It looks different than what’s on yours so I want to be sure before ordering. Also, was it easily compatible with the CavFab mount or did it require modifications of some sort?

Answering my own question after asking someone who has this bumper installed. The piece I was questioning slides inside the frame on the passenger side, and is not needed on the driver side, as the driver side has threads in those holes.

Thanks so much for the advice. I planned on doing that in advance, but wondered if it’d be a waste of time. Your comment confirms that it won’t be a waste of time after all!

This is what I’m referring to. This was included in the right side of the bumper. Should there be one on the other side?

@CavFab_mfg i just received my bumper this week. I noticed there are some bolts holding a plate on on the backside of the bumper on the passenger side. These were not included on the driver side of the bumper. Were they supposed to be on both sides?

yes, mine does have that gap. It’s to allow more room for a winch. It’s not that noticeable until you’re up close.

I get it! Definitely try to check one out in person before pulling the trigger. But really, you can’t go wrong either way. I was sort of on the fence when I first saw the new grille. I liked it, then tried to dislike it (since everyone else did), then I grew to love it. It’s a nice updated...

It ended up being too much black for me, to the point where the whole grille/slots blended in too much. I like the contrast of the different colors to break it up a little. You can’t go wrong either way… the ‘24 grille is SHARP and it looks even better in person.

That’s actually the grille I originally wanted! Although I’ve never seen it in person, based on all the photos I’ve seen, the trim does look matte black, so I agree with what DA said.

Yep! Btw the dark gray is the way they come from factory. So on mine, the only parts I had painted Bikini Pearl were the panel and surround. All other parts I left the way they come from factory (trim, mesh, and chin).
