I had the same experience in my 2020 Sport. But I had to become everything I hate. I drove the speed limit, accelerated slowy. Basically driving like a little old man.So I ran an expirament on the way to school this morning. I drove at the speed limit and didn't take off from a stop light with the RPMs over 2000.
I drive a 2 door manual transmission sport.
I drive about 40 miles and about 50 minutes of 55 MPH roads. Theres 7 traffic lights. Normally on route to school I get excited to see 24 MPG. But today....drumroll, I managed 31.5 miles per gallon average for the trip. It was still climbing.
I know I was driving slow and it wasn't a very fun drive roflmao. But getting 7MPG over my normal driving sure felt great!
I would post a picture but for some reason the site won't allow it...so womp
